I currently own the following airports in the US and Canada

KPDX - Portland - Flightbeam, CYVR - Vancouver, Toronto - FlyTampa, KFLL - Ft. Lauderdale - Latin  VFR KORD _ Chicago FS Dreamteram, KIAD - Flightbeam KLAS - Las Vegas Latin VFR and a couple of freebies from flightsim.tp Philly KPHL and KHOU -Houston.

If u have any suggestions, basically newely developed airports, but I want to stay away from Orbx, I know they make great sceneries, but had a lot of problems with them in FSX

It just seems the major developers such as flytampa are a bit slow on the pedal, and yes I recently purchased Toronto from them, and its asolutely Gorgeous!!!

You can't disregard ORBX. They have the best sceneries available for MSFS.

Citation needed..

They used to have the best..  They stopped innovating ever since Anna took over. A lot of their newer work feels cheap and on strict budgets in their desire to become the "Steam" of Flight Simming. John Venema was brash but the man knew how to push innovation.

I mean seriously.  We've come this this rubbish. John would have fired the person who even suggested doing this -  Easter Hunt 2022 - Orbx

Yeah.

This looks so bad:

I'll take my chances with anything that ORBX sells because they have the best sceneries from the best devs for MSFS.

It has felt like a little while since we last heard of Orbx announcing a new airport

Backs up my statement. Anna ruined Orbx. And those screenshots are not impressive. They look like FSX graphics.  Orbx is awful now. Step gatekeeping them.

It is free, and I have a lot of time off over Easter to waste,  I am up for it.

If it turns out to be dreadful nothing lost.

Personally the fact that Orbx can give marketplace style auto updates for all their vendors without the marketplace delays and hassles makes them a go to place for me when shopping for aircraft and other addons.

Come one now, we're not allowed to have fun with free add-ons, you know that!😉

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 64Gb (4x16GB) 3600 MHz; GPU:  MSI Radeon RX 5700XT [8GB]
SSD:  Corsair Force MP510 (for OS);  2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)
HDD:  Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet

Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

I have to say I am pretty careful now with ORBX add-ons now. I purchased 2 for MSFS in the months after it was released and was not impressed with either; I haven't bought anything since. Back when I was using P3D I had a lot of their products and they were good quality, well thought-out and presented add-ons. I just have not seen that from ORBX for a long time. I don't mind if they want to have fun and make and Easter-Egg Hunt, but I would  not call that innovative.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

For you guys that have CYTZ, here is a landing I did last year on RWY 08. Just curious to know how it matches up. Might do a video comparison.

Here's a quick and dirty one from me. The stutters are an on-going problem I have whenever there's an external overlay on the screen in MSFS (e.g. the Windows volume display or, in this case, anything from Game Bar such as the recording overlay). That also explains the bumpy landing and twitchy steering. So, sorry if it gives anyone a headache!

Using Simple Traffic (hence the inaccurate inclusion of airliners) and Drzewiecki Design Chicago Landmarks.

@109Sqn Well, thank you for that! Yes, looking very good. Stolport would not be impressed with those heavies though and I think Porter would have something to say. I have flown numerous times with Porter out of CYTZ many times to Chicago. Gotta say that many aspects are spot on including the stairs to the StolPort office where you pay $45 in admin and landing fees, the ferry terminal both sides across the channel, Ontario place, the shoreline and the marina on approach look very good. Just wish the the tall city buildings in MSFS were not all grey. Will view the video tomorrow with fresh eyes!

@Doering You're welcome.🙂 It's sadly been 20 years since I was last in Toronto, so things have changed for sure! Boy, do I miss it (I call it the world's biggest village - it just has that atmosphere of a small place on a huge scale). There was still a golf course where all those skyscrapers now are below the CN Tower. Even seeing the Cinesphere on approach makes me homesick for the place! As I say, Simple Traffic is the culprit for all those heavies that are irritating Stolport! Without it active, it looks like this:

Ignore the previous comment about Chicago Landmarks (as if that would alter the view) - it's way past my bedtime!🤪
