April 16, 20224 yr I love this little airplane, great to get into and tour around.. But having looked all over, I still have not found the handbrake.. anyone? 😉 Bert
April 16, 20224 yr I haven't been able to find it. A few of my other planes are also missing the parking brake handle or are hard to find so I assigned a switch on my bravo throttles for it. ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,

Using that, you'll see the brake pedals move exactly the same as they do when you use the physical brake pedals. No levers move elsewhere. Looks like a handbrake (rather than parking brake) is an aftermarket purchase, although that sounds more like a hand-operated alternative to toe brakes rather than a 'full braking' option. Edit: Vans do sell an aftermarket parking brake kit. And here's an installation of 3rd party kit. April 16, 20224 yr Just looked again and found that if you click on the brake lines on the inside edges of the pedals it activates the parking brake. Hope this helps... The standard RV14 does not have one.. see the first posts above for details. https://www.smashsrv-14build.com/2020/02/section-33-hours-18-some-of-places-ive.html Edited April 17, 20224 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
