April 23, 20224 yr HI does anyone use this in VR? Any feedback? i.e. worth installing or steer clear? My Sim is running well now so a little nervous about installing anything that might mess it up. Cheers Edited April 23, 20224 yr by Bozdog 3080rtx on a i7 12700k with 32 Gig ddr5. 2gig Ssd Quest 2 Windows 11
April 23, 20224 yr If i am not mistaken, that mod works outside of sim, so it cannot mess up things Artur
April 23, 20224 yr I think it depends where in the world you are. The Bing coverage in UK isn't bad and Google isn't much better so I personally found it of no great advantage - and I think it was just a touch more juddery than with the stock scenery so I switched back. It is reversible so probably worth a try? Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset

Considering this sim is still in beta, I don't think it would be a good idea to introduce something that can add to potential trouble. April 23, 20224 yr I use it quite often and it has no negative effect on the sim at all. even SU9. its useful mostly for me in remote areas such as Pakistan, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Alaska and Pacific NW where Bing is patchy. I do prefer Bing most of the time but I wish they’d address gaps in coverage in places like BC Canada and Alaska especially.
April 23, 20224 yr Contrary to Ray i prefer Google, as green roads and rivers are not fun to see Artur
April 23, 20224 yr I find the roads even in Google often look transparent or greenish as well. That's probably I think because roads are auto generated by MSFS not Google so it probably makes little difference
April 24, 20224 yr The recent Australian upgrade was a Con with only a few small airports upgraded - and resulted in making a mess of the Orbx City Scapes . Orbyx have had to redo at least 3 major cities and Sydney is still not complete Bing in Australia is 9 years old - EG my house that - I have lived in for 8 years - is still a building site and it is 4 years since the commonwealth games were held in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast - large items like the athletes village/ Swimming complex don't exist However - whatever the Google addon uses is still the same 9 years - out of date Sat. photo base - someone explain that?? April 24, 20224 yr Yeah I noticed that too. Yet the google earth app / maps etc is much more up to date than the google mod in my area of east coast.
