March 30, 20233 yr @rstoughWould it be possible to seperate the texture update routine from the main program and have it auto-close when it has updated the textures? That would avoid having to launch the complete main configuration program (which also cannot be launched minimized). This routine could also be called by the main program if the textures are updated manually. The scheduled task launches the program with a normal window and it stays open until closed manually. For an automated process it would be more elegant (in my opinion anyway) if the program launches in a less obtrusive way, e.g. minimized, and closes automatically. Not after 5 or 10 minutes, but immediately after updating the textures has finished. For those who want to configure the seasons manually they can start the main program when they like and update / configure things that way. I hear you, No biggie for me, I kinda' like the calming affect of the "babbling brook & chirping birds". 😉 just click once to "FINISH" and the "X" to close the Accuseason screen. Good to read you don't have a problem with it yet but it could have been written without that patronising tone. Unlike you don't find it calming at all, I find it amateurish and although it is nice for the first few times the effect wears of after several times. I actually do like the little sound check REX uses. To each his own I guess. I guess I read your comment on a bad day and I am sorry for that part of my reply. If that application only would be used to configure stuff I probably would not mind but it is scheduled to start daily. I I also use the computer for work so I prefer the automated process to be more "automatic". I know it is a few mouseclicks to close it but these are unncessary. Anyway, hopefully Rex will make some changes so we can both be happy. April 6, 20233 yr I thought REX removed these annoying bird sounds when the program auto updates. Guess not......
