Once you uninstall and reinstall you should see it in the Spring preset section. Also, the other two presets called Serenity and Spring Has Sprung are in the next page in the carousel so just click the Next button on the lower left to see those. March 25, 20233 yr Thanks Mike, I updated through ORBX. But I am not manually updating the seasons. I use the "Dynamic Automation" setting. I want to choose "Renewal", it asks me to disable the "Dynamic Automation" setting. If you want to try out a preset, then you would just need to turn off the Automated Dynamic Seasons (don't worry, you can turn it back on). Once you turn off Automated Seasons, make sure you are not in the simulator and just select whatever preset you want. Once that preset loads up then you can start the sim and get into your flight. Whenever you want to turn Automated Seasons back on, just close the simulator, go to the Automation page and enable the automated seasons. Hope this helps. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations

So no need to uninstall then if have it installed through Orbx? And secondly, will these two new sets be part of the automated settings? Edited March 25, 20233 yr by B777ER Eric

You do not need to dig very deep into Windows to do this. Right click on the Start icon and select "Installed apps". Type "Rex" into the search box and when the results appear, click on the three dots to the right of the app to be uninstalled. Then click on "Uninstall". If there is enough computer skill to switch the device on and log on to Windows, these few extra steps should not be too taxing. The alternative, is to buy through Orbx Direct and then this procedure is reduced to one click on the update menu. 🙂

Are you telling me you are not even able to do such a standard operation as uninstalling software from your computer? I'd say it's time you learn this a soon as possible. That's part of the ABC of computer knowledge. So don't suggest to avoid this, just because you somehow managed to avoid basic knowledge.

Questions before uninstalling could be; do we have to reset to default trees before uninstalling? Then the enhancements. What to do with those? Just leave them in the community folder? Their update system was not the finest back in the FSX/P3D days so I was glad that this app updates itself automatically. But then, we still have to do it manually because something changed. My request was simply to avoid those manually installations while the app has an automatic updater. I do not see myself updating this way every time something changes, that's all. @Reader Thank you, and that is exactly the way I did it. 🙂

Which is a valid question, Does the app reset MSFS to default when uninstalled? Or do you have to do this manually before uninstalling? And is it the same when uninstalled through Orbx Central? Because every machine is different and not everyone updates their programs at the same time, this is why we require a full re-installation. We have tried all the other ways and in the end the support blows up because of it. So, it is best to uninstall, then install a fresh version. That way we know the user has the latest full version.
