Yes I have the same problem. It seems as if there's a problem with the 24h time format or a non english OS.

Just go to Task Scheduler and you can input whatever time, or even have it to autorun at logon.

Of course, as we all have the same software, mine shows the same.
However, at 11AM every day, the time that I chose, it switches itself on and updates the textures.
My guess is that as 12AM is the top of a drop-down list, it just defaults to that after having been set.
More of a feature than a bug, perhaps.
You can check in Task Scheduler what has actually been set.

In 2023 I have to "unzip" a folder to make use of a program that is payware? Pass!

Great advice! I just set to to run at every startup. No more birds chirping at midnight when I'm in the middle of a flight 🍾

@MikeT707 or anyone else, is there any way to reduce the tree size even further? I’m using the smallest size but still finding the trees abut 30% too big. Any config file adjustments I can make?

Hi Scotchegg. Thanks for your question. AccuSeason offers Short, Default, and Tall at this time, so something shorter is not available. 

@MikeT707 It's been a while since you've had any updates on terrain masks in AccuSeason. Any hope of seeing them? In Australia it was kind of moot, but I've been flying in the UK recently, and they would be welcome.

I‘m starting to think that this was just another publicity stunt and probably a premature announcement to win over customers from Bijan‘s mod, who at that time had started to developp a few compatibility issues with su10. Well, it worked with me and while the product does what it’s supposed to do, it does leave a sour taste in my mouth.

They stated a while back that the delay is because they’ve had problems with other products that needed fixing and that there were still a few issues to sort out. These must be some major roadblocks then. Let‘s not forget, that Bijan, even in his prime, wasn‘t able to make terrain masking really work without causing other issues. Probably the same issues Rex is fighting now. Or they just gave up.

I don't know why you feel this way. In Photogrammetry areas where the REX trees are added to the PG trees you can see that the "small" option gives you exactly the right height for trees. The deiviation is miniscule.

Most probably terrain masking was or is not so easy to achieve. At least not as easy as they advertised it, months later no word on it, not a good sign. But as others said, not really surprising for REX. Money is made, no? So why bother anymore...

I wonder what terrain masking should achieve. The only thing I can think off is making forrests brown when you are above the autogen display distance and giving agricultural fields the right look according to the season. But meadows are evergreen unless there is a draught.
