REX AccuSeason

Featured Replies

I purchased Bijan's Seasons a while ago.  Based on the advertising, REX AccuSeason appears to be a more complete product.  Do you consider REX to be significantly better than Bijan's product?

Bijan's looks better if that is what you are after.

Nope, it's the other way around.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

… Edit:  Removed for lack of clarity

Well, now that that’s settled…😂

I was answering to the OP, in case you misunderstood (your double-quote is confusing, because I did not respond to Bob). Bijan is better.

Oh wow you are right it does look confusing the way that I quoted.  Sorry that was unintentional.

I used Bijan's for a while - it is a good product.  I changed to AccuSeason because it updates the trees weekly, plus the user interface is nicer.  As to look of the trees, that is down to personal choice but I prefer AccuSeason.

There are a few comparison videos on YT. I have Bijan's and I used them on every flight.

MSFS

Prefer Accuseason for the same reasons stated above and the additional fact that there is a proper user interface and a bigger organization to provide support such as when people pointed out that the foliage in South Florida was a bit off. They went back to the drawing board with that feedback and fixed it in a timely fashion. Additionally you can alter the tree height and also make the shapes a bit more irregular.

I have used both and prefer Accuseason, mostly for its ease of use.

If you use adding linker, the interface is irrelevant.   Just link to the Bjorn season/folder you want

I use both ACCUSEASONS GUI and activate it via Addon Linker. The GUI Interface is VERY much so relevant as updates and new features are added by Accuseason.

It’s difficult to download and unzip a folder?  That’s literally all you have to do.
