  • You're welcome. In the cruise now. All systems go. Don't believe the charlatan on the other forums claiming PMDG hasn't released the SDK. They're just trying to buy time because either they

This is also so in Xplane, drop in and fly. So I really guess this is also for MSFS the same. Maybe some small adjustments and you good to go!   Gerald you guys are rocking it again!

  • Thanks Bruno. We would appreciate our users "educate" naïve users who go watch a 2 minute "doctored video" (with no Demo) and wrongly assume they will be getting a real life FO and turned into th

I'd like to add the Redwing L1049G for MSFS to the list of requests.

I would love to see support (in the future) for the not yet released X-Craft Embraers:)

Is Fenix support being worked on?

In fact, if you install the latest MCE version and replace "Simco64_ldr.exe" with latest version, you'll find out that many Fenix overhead panel switches are under FO control already. just needs more work.

If you need anything tested let me (us too I guess) know.

Grab the latest for Fenix A320 integration. Manually replace 2 files. Assumption is that users ate on MCE Ultimate V2.9.7.3 already.

MCE MSFS edition users can help themselves to the new patch, but do not replace "mce.exe"

http://www.multicrewxp.com/Latest-Beta.zip

Still more work required for emergencies like cargo fire handling, engine fire extinguishing.

Switches should be handled as expected now.

No FCU dialling yet.

I noticed that MCE seems not to be able to read the flap setting from the Fenix.

MCE always adds the commanded flaps to the current setting. For example when flaps are already set to 1 and you call "flaps 2", MCE sets flaps 3.

I seem to remember that problem temporarily had existed before with the FBW as well, but was solved.

Thanks for reporting tis important glitch.

Get this patch and manually replace 2 files in \Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder.

Should get the issue sorted

Works fine now, thanks!

Another thing I noticed:

Whenever an engine is started, MCE reports that we've lost the Nav radio.

... and are those Transponder switches already supposed to work in the Fenix? My FO did not like to switch them yesterday! But nothing else to complain so far, and I'm on the WU 10 Beta.

They will be double checked just in case. Both rotary switches should be under FO control.

Just in case you were using the patch to update and not installed very latest, ensure you replace both files in this patch as they have been updated last Friday

http://www.multicrewxp.com/Latest-Beta.zip

I assume Fenix version is still V1.0.2.104 (I don't follow Discord)

WU 10 Beta should have no impact unless the plane itself is known to have issues with it in the first place.

All works well on the latest patch for me; takeoff calls are back.

Still waiting for the V1 cut video with Nathaniel 😛

Come on Andrew.

By the way, we're going to integrate Simbrief FPLN with MCE.

What would be the most helpful information to show in MCE UI aside from Origin, Dest, ALtenate and the planned route?

Might be useful for planes that don't have EFB linked to Simbrief yet.

Hi Gerald,

Simbrief info I'd like to be able to fetch from my PM:

  • Block Fuel
  • Est. Zero Fuel weight (ZFW) (optionally: TOW and LAW)
  • Est. #PAX, Est. Cargo (t), est. payload (t)
  • AVG wind component
  • Cost Index
  • planned gate departure time
  • planned (initial) cruise flight level (if no steps)

I might come up with more as soon as I find some time to fly again. I haven't had time for months 😕

Thanks for reading!

We already have these. They'll come in next update for both MSFS Edition and Ultimate Edition.

You can see the screenshots for the PMDG 737 Edition where they are already present.
