May 8, 20224 yr I have TM Hotas Warthog controller which have two throttle levers. If a plane got more than two engines like for example the Concorde there is an issue. I don't have throttle levers for all engines. How do you resolve this issue ? In P3D I can assign a button to select a specific engine or all engines with a single throttle control. As far I can see this is not possible in MSFS. So what options do we have here ?

In fact I've been using it for the 747. Edited May 8, 20224 yr by Fiorentoni For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
May 8, 20224 yr You can assign more than one command onto the same axis. 1,2,3, or a dozen commands! For the warthog throttle axis you can assign 1 and 3 or 1 and 2. For warthog 2nd throttle axis you can assign 2 and 4, or 3 and 4. Save that new profile for 4 engine planes. For 1 or 2 engine planes use your old profile. You don't have to redo all the other commands in the profile. Just duplicate your present profile and change only the throttle axis and save this new profile and call it 4 Engines or whatever. Now you have 2 profiles that are identical in all ways, except for the throttle axis. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. There are no failures in the Concorde or 146. Anyway you can use the TARGET software from Thrustmaster and add a modifier to the throttle axis, so that e.g. SHIFT + left throttle will move engine 3 (instead of one). If you want a separate axis for each engine in a 4-holer, you need a 4-axis throttle. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

May 8, 20224 yr If you set the left wing engines to one axis and the right wing engines to the other axis you get asymmetric thrust control I suppose. No idea if asymmetric thrust was used or even an approved procedure in the real life Concorde. Realistic startup may require individual throttle control no idea. Other than that, the other obvious reason to control engines separately is engine failure.
May 8, 20224 yr I've never had a problem that required adjusting just one throttle, I had one plane that was about 50 rpms out of synch with the other 3, but I adjusted that with mixture, using mouse for that operation. May 9, 20224 yr Using AAO (Axis and Ohs) you can setup an 'Assigned Combo' . To make the program, is easy: you just tick the assigned combo box. Then push a keyboard key or a controller button and AAO then makes that key or button your 'combo' for that axis, say throttle 1. Then you move an Axis lever (such as a throttle lever) and then AOO makes that your controller lever for that throttle 1 axis. You also make another assignment with the same controller lever not using a combo (to move all the sim levers together). To move only the sim throttle 1 lever you push the key or button and then move the controller lever. To move a different in sim throttle, you push a different key or button and move the same controller lever. If you push no button and move the lever, then all throttles move together to match the controller lever. It seems tricky to setup at first but trial and error while observing the in sim lever movements show you which boxes in AAO to tick to make the levers move as you want them to do. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 9, 20224 yr CH have 6 levers and I suppose there is going to be a six engine plane (according to a recent Q&A hint). I don‘t think so, no. These are jets, you start the engines one by one (can do with the mouse), then you move them all together to change thrust in the flight, and then you turn them off again one by one after parking (with the mouse). The only time you have to move single engines to set the thrust is when you have an engine failure and turn off one of them. Oh and maybe single engine taxi, but I don‘t think you do this on the Concorde… For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
