HJET Issues List

Recommended Posts

I am completely unable to take off with the HJet, as I did report before in this issue list.

Whatever I do, what ever runway I use, whatever airport, my HJet always crashes on the runway wiithout any reason.

I switched off crash detection in developer mode, I reduced realistic crashes in options to 0%, I switched NWS Off during TO, I trimmed nose neutral as well as up, every time speed reaches 50-60 kts the HJet starts vibrating violently, next the right wing comes up, the jet yaws to the left and flips over.

I am out of options know and really need some help in getting my HJet up in the air.

Many thanks and best regards,

Jan

Hi Jan,

Did you check to be sure your flight model is still in 'modern' mode?   Check flight control calibration?

I had a few duplicate bindings that caused a PFD display problem.  I created a new Honeycomb Bravo profile dedicated to it.

Best Regards,

Mark

Just posted on their Discord…update tonight between 5-6pm pdt.

Hi Everyone!  MS confirmed that the first updated for the HJet should roll out between 5 and 6PM Pacific Time (0:00 - 1:00 Zulu time)

This should address the following issues.

Change to version 1.02
Revised VSD drawing code for more efficiency and performance.
Revised VNAV logic, Alt capture logic and autopilot modes transition logic to improve performance and consistency.
Corrected and issue causing low brightness of PFDs and MFDs at night.
Corrected background thumbnails in the marketplace.
Other various improvements and fixes.

We have been gathering feedback for the next patch and will provide more information along with a complete update roadmap soon.

As reported previously AND TWICE in this thread:

Flight model selected is MODERN; Crashes are switched OFF;

Despite the fact that all Take Off settings are within correct settings (as confirmed by the G3000) my HJet crashes at every take off from any runway and any airport when the T.O. speed reaches 60 kts.

CAN THIS BE DUE TO INTERFERENCE WITH ANY MODULE IN THE COMMUNITY MAP???

Can you confirm that when you start the engines with the engine start buttons, you are also then dragging the throttles up into the idle zone.    I saw few reports where people could not reach take off power - but they didn't know about the throttle cutt-off zones, and the need to drag the throttles into idle.

Sorry, ignore. Didn't see you already checked flight model is on modern.

good news for those like me who were a bit let down by the VNAV function (some seemed to report all was fine but for me it was just not working, and the videos i watched from flibert or overkill showed the same erratic behavior as i saw making it unusable)

i just installed the first patch and the vnav was smooth as silk, really happy with that, well it's just one quick flight but certainly looks a lot improved. We'll see if it was just luck or really fixed, but i guess really fixed because the patch notes mention VNAV improvements 👍

then i completed the flight with a little RNAV approach, yesterday on the same flight when activating the APP button it dived unexpectly 1000 feet before getting back on track, today with the patch i still had a mini dive at -600 immediately when clicking on the APP button (although i was at 2000 feet selected and it should not have moved), but the dive was quickly stopped after only loosing around 60-80 feet and then it proceeded taking me perfectly on the runway.

there's probably more to fix but the autopilot certainly seems improved with the patch, for the rest i was enjoying it already before the patch 🍺

Nice. i didn't test the VNAV yet, but the lights seem to be fixed for me. I can turn them on or off after a flight if I wish, before they wouldn't go off. Night Lighting is much better too. And I seem to have less stutters with the plane.

I don't have the update yet but the way I use VNAV, which may not be the correct way, is to make sure there is an altitude set on my IAF on say an RNAV approach, and when still in cruise and close to the TOD I'll click the VNAV button on the AP panel.

The weidness is that the VNAV may start with a steep decent but usually smooths out shortly into a reasonable decent.  The update probably smooths out the initial capture.

yeah i do like you @Sky_Pilot071 but i'm not a specialist either 😋

the previous had indeed a steep decent (-4000 -5000 😱) at first but then i didn't really smooth out the right way for me, it pretty much almost leveled because the steep descent got it below the path and then restarted another deep descent (less than the first one but still not smooth at all) when crossing the glidepath again, and then almost level again and again descent and so on, i noticed that on some videos too. With the patch it was very smooth. Well only one flight in but it looked good. 👍

Has anyone been able to assign the left yoke button to check the boxes on the checklist?

Mr. Bad_T,

How are you my friend? When you did the update, did you do a clean install of the full version or just ran the update?
