I have all damages turned off, it's not simulated well at all in MSFS. The whole 'screen goes black' is just so annoying. Either I see the damage depicted visually and and it has tons of variatoins of what then happens or not have it at all. So not have it at all it is for me.

My only question regarding Hondajet currently: in drone camera view, my cockpit is empty. No pilot or copilot in there.
I have weight on their positions in the MSFS Fuel & Weight widget and also in the G3000 load page the positions are filled.
What could I be missing.

Apart from that, aircraft works like a charm.
I like using the G3000 and don't mind having to fill in the altitudes for the VNAV by hand...did a wonderful VNAV descent and then ILS landing with it yesterday all the way down from 30k feet, all automated (until touchdown of course, no autoland availabalbe). And a bit of throttle work in between. Switched to ILS automatically as well when egaging approach.

Tons of respect for the dev to get VNAV working so well.

Minor issue: Taxilight turned itself off halfway trhough the taxi after landing. No biggie though.

1. Don't do an in place upgrade.  Uninstall the product fully, close out of FS, and then reinstall the aircraft from the market store.

Yes, I'd definitely agree with that for updating the HJet.   In fact when I attempted to update the existing installation in Marketplace, it kept looping / repeating the update installation indefinitely!   Would download to 100%, extract, install, then begin the update again.   Went on for hours!    I eventually unitstalled the plane in Marketplace, installed as fresh and all was ok.

I'm enjoying the HJet a bit more now - especially as I made my own small AAO script that allows keybinding of the FLC and VS buttons (thanks to Marwan for supplying the LVARS).    However, I do find the autopilot in general, very clunky and unsmooth.   Eg.   When climbing to a preselected altitude, it moves from the climb mode (either FLC or VS) to the Alt Hold mode too early (>600' to go), shoots up wildly and then bobs above and below the held altitude before eventually settling.   Also, LOC similarly seems to capture too early (with the plane still flying offset to the runway), and most of the localizer approach is made at an angle, with the CDI only being truly centred very close to the runway.   GS a bit up and down too.

But the worst is > try this - climb in the plane in any mode (FLC or VS) with a preselected altitude.   Then let's say you decide/need to level out earlier than the preselected altitude and just hit the ALT key.   This should begin to level the plane out smoothly, but in the HJet it goes crazy - pitching up hard then pitching down; taking a long time to settle at the held altitude.

I know Marwan custom made some elements of the AP, in order to create his custom VNAV but I personally think the default autopilot constants and config perform more smoothly than that in the Hjet.  I'd personally rather have the stock autopilot in use.

The same can be said with some elements of the PMDG 737 (speed brake handle management, reverse thrust, to name two).  You have to setup different ways to control those aspects of the aircraft which is insane for one aircraft.  Sometimes the default solution works best.

Would you mind posting the script for the FLC button? I can't get it to work, but that's probably me.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Here you go:-

This AAO script I created has bindings for FLC, VS, ALT, NAV, APPR and CSC

https://file.io/FRx0R9COAYwl

As an Axis & Ohs user, place it into [Documents] / LorbyAxisAndOhs Files / Scripts

.....then import the script within AAO

Hey Bill. Went to download and get a DELETED error. Any chance you can re-upload. I'd kill for a FLC button. LOL

Thanks!
