June 9, 20223 yr The PMS50 GTN750 is always updated with the same navdata we have in the simulator, the TDS isn't and uses an old navdata different than the one we have in the sim, causing problems when making flightplans. That's the main reason I don't use it. I haven't seen hardly any navdata issues while utilizing the TDS - though I do most of my flying in the US - perhaps elsewhere procedures are changed in more a major way? I just don't know. You are probably talking about the GTN 750.
