There are many more but have to stop somewhere. Cheers, Pete Pete Solov - Lake in the Hills 3CK and Schaumburg Regional 06CProud AOPA Member - PPL 2001Real World Piper Cherokee Pilot

These are my favorites when I’m in these countries. Mexico - Modelo or Dos Equis El Salvador - Brava Honduras - Brava Guatamala - Brava Peru - can’t remember Argentina - Quilmes Brazil - Brahma Chopp Puerto Rico - Medella Light Ireland - Kilkenny Portugal - can’t remember Spain - Estrella Galicia France - Kronenbourg 1664 Italy - Peroni of course I’m probably missing some places but these are what come to mind off the top of my head. Probably my overall favorite is still Brahma chopp served ice cold from a beer cart at a beach in Rio. I’m not a beer aficionado or much of a beer drinker at all, but I could drink Brahma chopp all day long 😂😂 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Those are the only two countries in Central America I’ve been to, so it’s funny those weren’t on your list. My wife is from Central America, so after we got together and started traveling a lot, the first counties we knocked out were those listed. While I liked visiting them, I’m not particularly fond of them and haven’t been back to any of them except Mexico. We like to go to Playa Del Carmen or Tulum occasionally. I used to love Brazil and Argentina and made a few trips there and preferred it to Central America. That all changed once we started going to Europe. I love Italy, Spain and France, but really love Italy the most and feel at home there or like I belong. We’ve made a lot of trips to Italy and have made long lasting friendships with people there. When it comes time to retire, we’d like to live in either Italy, Spain, Andorra, or France. BTW, I’m not a diver but would like to learn and try sometime. Cheers, Pete Yeah, I’m pretty much done with Central America and don’t really have a desire to go to Costa Rica but I’d be open to visiting Panama once. The problem is that once I found Europe I don’t want to really go anywhere else 😂😂 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

My wife is obsessed with Italy, and between Peroni and Gelato I think I gained 15 lbs. in a week. Europe is incredible. If you haven’t yet been, Scandinavia is outstanding and I highly recommend it. Cheers, Pete My wife is obsessed with France and I’m obsessed with Italy and Spain to some extent. Our next stops are going to be St. Maarten this August and then for Christmas/New Years we’ll be going to Prague, Vienna and Paris again. We’ve been to Paris many times but never have been to the Czech Republic or Austria. We actually had Prague and Vienna scheduled for the year before but had to cancel due to Covid shut downs. This last Christmas/New Years was Milan, Rome and Paris 😂😂 We still have many more parts of Europe and Eastern Europe to visit as well as Scandinavia but it take time to see it all. The only problem with Scandinavia is that we do our Europe trip every Christmas season, so that place will be freezing. We love to do Europe during the Christmas season because it’s a lot more festive than in the US, albeit some parts, like Paris and northern Italy are chilly. If you haven’t been to Europe during Christmas, you owe it to yourself to try it once at least. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
June 6, 20224 yr Moderator Munich Dunkle Biere preferably Bernauer. Die Dunkle is a traditional dark beer, with the intense aromas and the deep color of an English stout. This dark brew has a delicate, roasted caramel malt body and a resiny, herbal hop aroma. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Another place I gained a ton of weight. Cheers, Pete Pete Solov - Lake in the Hills 3CK and Schaumburg Regional 06CProud AOPA Member - PPL 2001Real World Piper Cherokee Pilot
