Navigraph Charts 8 in Beta Testing

Featured Replies

Are the runway winds "real-life" or are they "what MSFS is using" because a lot of the time when you get close to the airport it's completely different.

They missed one of the more useful feature unfortunately. The possibility to write on charts (eg: mark ground taxi instructions to runway holding point or write departure freq, etc, etc)

Yes. I like the way Fenix has implemented this in the EFB.

Same. It’s pricey but it would be hard to live without it now that I’m so used to the convenience. I usually plan the flights and mark the charts I need for the flight in the desktop app. Then I shut it down and use the iPad app.

Looks great.  I am using Navigraph charts here in the USA in-gauge in virtual cockpits but have been spoiled for several years by the FltPlan Go iPad app.  Alas it has coverage only in North American and the Caribbean.  Looks like Navigraph has a great looking worldwide solution at the doorstep.

It does look like an exciting update.  Definitely very interested in whether the actual US sectional chart will be an available option.  I would imagine it's a pretty easy thing to include.

What's the VR integration like? Is there a Toolbar/Window like other Apps? If so does it work well?
I'm on the fence about getting a sub, but either way it needs to have decent VR support. thanks

The in-sim panel works just like any other in-sim window. Currently of course still plagued by the bug that the sim doesn't remember the sizes, content and position of the windows after closing them. A bug they introduced with Sim Update 7 I believe and from what I heard still not completly fixed in the upcoming Sim Update 10.

haha yes I'm well aware of that regressional bug that is still not fully fixed in SU10 beta! The main thing though is this program works fully within that window when in Flight? I don't want to be lifting the HMD on/off every five minutes to do things in the main program (if needed) when I could be doing them in VR, thanks

Of course it does. Like every in game window.
