I have just got a notification that an update for Flytampas Copenhagen is available. Finally they have removed the static aircraft, which is superb!! Overall ground textures look better. Checking the flytampa forum this update had been released on 14. January 2022 -> I hope I have overlooked the update or does it really take up to 9 months for update being available for download?

Here is the change log:

That is the changelog for the previous version, check Content Manager - you have version 1.7.0 now. Can't find any changelog for v1.7.0 ....

Flytampa is in my opinion still the best, and keeping products updated. Now wait for EHAM!

 

Strange  , I have Air China at A17 , B4 and a Spirit at A4 and SAS at A20 and A18 , PMDG737 ad C32.

Traffic sliders is off and AIG trafficcontroller not started.

EKCH  1.7.0.

Any ideers ?

Thanks for posting this!  Unfortunately, I bought KLAS, YSSY and EKCH before Orbx (have purchased all the rest through them now) and have to rely on such information to update those 3.  I was hoping there was a way to move them to Orbx so that the updates would be easier, but that is not possible.

It has been a learning curve, and now I only use Orbx, FSDT and Contrail. It is important we hold developers to a higher standard for easier updating.  Keeping P3D updated was almost a full time job 😉

Simmarket has an app like Orbx now. With update notifications.

So, thinking of adding FlyTampa EKCH to my MSFS sim ... I hold this developer in high based on my ownership of some of their other titles but YouTube reviews and various comments on other forums are getting on for two years old now. Just wondering if people think this scenery is still worth the £20 asking price?

Depends on how important Kastrup airport is to you. I bought it right away cuz my European flights either begin or end there.

If it's just another airport then wait for a sale.

... thanks... impatience got the better of me... had a planned few VA flights so dived in... no regrets, a beautiful rendition 😀

My AIG Traffic controller shows static's with default liveries. Latest version from Marketsplace.

Is there something i can do manually?

For anyone else wondering if EKCH is still worth it, two years on, then I'd definitely say yes. It's a beautiful well-performing airport and those ground textures... FlyTampa still do the best taxiways and runways. Always a pleasure flying into Kastrup.
