We’ve added a new tool to create and edit taxi signs, with a previsualization window! General: We added support for 3DSMax 2023 in the SDK Core installer. We fixed the formatting of the progress text in the SDK installers. Project Editor We fixed the “company name” that was incorrectly written when creating a package with a first asset group of type mission/VFX/custom. We added a feature which allows users to import an existing package in a project. Scenery Editor We improved the jetways update times. WASM We improved compilation times. TWITCH UPDATE The highly-anticipated World Update 11: Canada launched last week, and we’re here to enjoy just a small fraction of the sights from the world’s second largest country by landmass! This week’s flight plan will see us traverse the splendid valleys and mountain passes of Canada’s two most visited national parks: Banff and Jasper. As a bonus to this week’s Fly-in, we have also invited three Canadian simmers to join us. Periodically throughout the flight, we will cut away to their POV as they showcase other parts of the country with which they are personally familiar. Event details here. All are welcome to participate! COMMUNITY VIDEO Twitch streamer and YouTuber Chewwy94 attended the recent Reno Air Races. On his return flight home to the UK, he had a connection through Phoenix (KPHX) and took the opportunity to record footage of the approach and landing. He then re-created the same approach in Microsoft Flight Simulator and made this “sim vs. reality” video complete with picture-in-picture. Check it out!
