AI Traffic Improvement SU11

I think we just have to wait until either Asobo or FSLTL can manage to get past this beta issue. Apparently it's something to do with changes in simconnect in SU11, according to FSLTL. Sorry, don't have a reference for that right now, but it's in one of my posts here on Avsim 🙂

Strangely enough it just started working. I can now hear ATC comms with AI planes and it is using the correct callsigns. I wonder if they just fixed something server side. Weird.

They do change things server side from time to time it seems.

As for FSLTL being halfway borked (no arrivals etc.) I think we just have to wait. I even tried RealTraffic lately to see if that's a viable option.

And was it?

The biggest drawback is the jerky movement. It looks quite bad IMO.

Just testing at EGLL with real-time online. ATC still uses the ICAO codes, not the callsigns.

EDIT: Or they're using the reg. number. Or both. Only not the callsigns.

Yes, that's what I think too.

Will airlines finally park at the current gates in SU11 or is that outside of the scope of this update?

I'm not sure I know what you mean. Aircraft always parked at the gates for me. If you mean at the correct gates, that's up to scenery developers, they have to define the airline codes for the gates I think.

Ok i see. Several of us have been hounding the developer on the FlyTampa forums to fix KLAS for months to no avail. You will have Spirit, Jet Blue, Delta, etc parking at Southwest gates.  Annoying that they are not responding or fixing this. There was a fix available from a 3rd party, but it was for default airports specifically. Applying it fixed the problem with the incorrect gate assignments, but introduced other issues like elevation drops and a sunken runway for KLAS, so that was no good. Flytampa, are you still out there?

Yeah, not working for me again (with the injector). Can't hear comms again.

Do we know if this is reported anywhere? The dev of FSLTL wasn't aware of it in discord until I brought it to their attention.

They said they were reporting the problems to Asobo, strange that they were not aware of this. Unless they are not using the SU11 beta.

Have a look here, there's an update incoming:

And apparently they advice to stay away from the beta for now in terms of using FSLTL. And that they're awaiting a response from Asobo.

Lots of AI traffic at Luton. This is with real-time online, no parked AI.
