Update 11 of msfs 2020 will be released soon

Recommended Posts

Hey Update 11 of msfs 2020 will be released soon, I would like to know if update 11 includes the previous updates, for example update 10,9... Thanks

@jambo

MSFS will automatically update to whatever the current sim version every time you run the program. If you have a new install of MSFS, it will update to current version on first run.

Because of the mandatory, automatic updates, there is no need for Update 11 to include all the previous updates.

Does this make sense?

The current release version (SU 10) contains all previous updates. If you are flying right now WITHOUT the SU 11 beta you have ALL the updated

I am in beta.

Is there a way to withdraw from beta as soon as the official 11 is released?

So that I don't have to install everything again

Chances are you won't have to do anything once this beta ends and SU11 goes live. You'll already have the current version and nothing will need to be updated. You'll automatically be entered into the next beta though (by not opting out) and if you don't want that then read this first: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/opting-out-of-su11-beta-gets-you-stuck-at-the-su10-world-map/549448/40.

When the update arrives (which I don't think will be until the 11th) here is the correct way to update, do not withdraw from the beta it will happen automatically when the updates are released on the 11th.

I lost my entire previous installation including hundreds of addons during a recent sim update beta testing phase.  No thanks ASOBO, I won't be doing that again I'm afraid.

I'm in the Beta for SU11, and it's fine if all you do is fly. If you care about AI Traffic, then it's a disaster.

Release times, none of these should be surprising, it's the same time as almost every update they've released

I’ve only been lightly following the SU11 beta and didn’t opt in this time…I take it from this that the AI improvements in the beta didn’t really pan out?

Default live traffic is a bit better.
The biggest issue is STARS and altitude.

AI Traffic on arrival will always fly to the first STAR in the list, no matter the runway or direction they're heading towards the airport, but they'll also fly to cruise level while doing it, making them too high for landing when they head back to the airport.

Default or FSLTL?

FSLTL uses the default AI systems, so both.

Can already smell some long hauls on a (finally) reliable heavy. And what a heavy, the outstanding A310!

❤️

Let's see if there aren't any broken dreams, better keep expectations kinda low.

A Jumbo ( 747 ) is heavy, but not IMO a A310..?? 😂

A310 is heavy in air traffic terms.
