I have flying in VR and I can’t stop. Lol

I think 11 or 12 in on the zibo is hard to stop. I planning another flight today with live traffic during holiday travel season. 🙂

XP12's photometric lighting is causing serious problems for nvidia 9xx owners.

I can't resist 🙂 🙂 This you??

One step forward and one step back!! Or maybe they are the same problem at heart...

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...

I confirm what I wrote before Beta14: "Xp12's photometric lighting is causing serious problems for nvidia 9xx owners".

I tested the new Beta14 yesterday and I didn't get magenta, but someone did, so the problem still exists.

We must consider that magenta is only one of the XP12 problems, ie on my hardware it is not enough to resolve magenta to allow me to fly better. 🤔
During my beta14 test I didn't get magenta... but I did get all the blurry textures, bad anti-aliasing, and lots of CTDs.

Antialiasing and CTDs will probably be fixed in the future, but not the blurry textures, my Nvidia GTX-960 2 gb can never fix that problem because it has low Vram.
Result?
XP12, running on my hardware, will not have detailed cockpits and scenarios like I currently have in XP11.
I also wrote this on the other forum:
"On my hardware - XP12 fails to (overall) be graphically superior to my customized XP11".

I will of course continue to test all other betas out of curiosity ....but I have given up on the desire to use XP12.
Also because, honestly, I haven't yet seen one XP12 photo capable of embarrassing my XP11.

Your PC specs are way too low to get a good experience in X-Plane 12. You will get a better experience with older versions (which have lower hardware requirements), as was stated by X-Plane developers themselves in some blog posts. I don't know if I can make it more clear than this.

"Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

Why are you trying to force a square peg in a round hole, when using the round peg is giving you exactly what you want?

Does it for me, tbh.

The grass?
With all due respect Mr. mSparks, grass hairs are probably the last thing I care about in a flight simulator.
If it were a "hay and tractor" simulator the matter would be different.

And by the way, if we really like grass hair...

You or anyone dont need to give me much of any respect when it comes to art and graphics. I know I dont deserve it nor do I expect it.

I also never really had much complaints about XP11s graphics. To me it was already ahead of the closest competition... hmmm wonder why they closed their YT account....

yes but also no.

specifically "nothing in that picture annoys me".

Randomly taken after chasing deers out of the forest and one took a nap outside the hanger.

Ill get better screenshots and videos if/when there is a settings selection for VR and 2D - thats all on my VR settings in 2D replay.....

With it looking this good when their #1 priority has been getting a whole new generation of tech working, further new improved assets will surely follow. But a lot is now covered, vegetation is shaping up great with more improvements planned, there's high quality pavement not quite visible just behind the grass that collects water when it rains.... I know that scene will look great when the snow and ice comes.. Even tho there is still more for LR todo imho wrt snow meshing.
