Nice! Thomas is packin' a steady cam.

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...

They should pick a glider one of these days...

yos.

My understanding from the livestream is Austin plans to do (at least?) one of these for each of the XP12 default aircraft..

Not sure I would go that far, but I did notice the "ahah" moment when Austin realised that scenery isn't invisible from all aircraft while you fly...

Hopefully he collects together a defects list as he goes through each aircraft and tries them for himself in the sim having seen them in real life.

Then the long tail of fairly minor but annoying issues might actually get sorted during 12s run.

Glider pilots know important scenery IS 🙂

I believe heli pilots too, right @mSparks?

Theseseries of videos are really a good idea and certainly have an impact on XP12 users.

They should dedicate some videos to explaining how they implement the new weather features as well as the new FM subtleties..

[possibly[ even more than planes - because quite a few flight procedures are all about what the scenery is doing...

e.g. Take off is all about when and how the grass starts bending. Steep approaches require some frame of reference such as tree/leaf sway to get a good estimate of the wind. (stuff I mark under long tail of fairly minor but annoying issues)

Also why there is pretty much nothing default about my XP scenery.

Don't want to get to far ahead, but yep, getting him in an ASK21 and R22 should be easy, 737.. S76, ..... F4 and F14... will be not just fantastic to watch but also possibly a huge boon to what issues get prioritised moving forward.

Hmm, personnel incorrectly positioned on the ramp blocking the path of the aircraft completely oblivious to its presence , I’ve seen that before somewhere….🤔

Should be modeled in a future update 🙂
