I have to say I was super skeptical when the HJet was announced. Thought that this was just going to piggyback on the WT g3000 mod with a pretty exterior.

But this developer really knocked it out of the park.

The upcoming update is a perfect example of why study-level can mean sophisticated, and does not have to mean complicated. The actual Hondajet itself is designed and implemented that way. A simulator model that is so closely modeled to the actual features and capabilities of its namesake model is yet another dimension of quality.  There is still plenty to learn, especially with the greatly enhanced G3000 possessed in the Hjet.

Honda Motorcycle/Powersports had a famous television commercial tagline in the 1990's of "I just want to ride".  The Hondajet is all about "I just want to fly" and the Hjet captures that quite nicely!

Stay tuned.  Improved and coming to a hangar near you! Or perhaps wrapped and under your tree!  Details can be found on the FlightFX Hjet Discord.  The Discord has a new hour long video tutorial for the update by Les O'Reilly that has just been posted. An hour immersed in the video may better help you learn/prepare for SU12 and the WT3000, especially in regard to VNAV. You will clearly see a new level.  No pun intended.

Just watched the video, Marwan really did a great job on the VNAV. Amazing.

The past issue with Porsche and racing games/sim was over damage models. Things get real tricky on how certain car manufactures feel about crash tests/safety standards/digital damage models.

Yes even being modeled and portrayed in a video game, Porsche just weren't fond of it, hence why some game studios just took the RUF (Aftermarket Porsche Tuner)...

That doesn't add up, Gran Turismo for a very long time had no visual damage and yet still no Porsche. I think it was more licensing costs. It got Porsche after it got visual damage!

As far as I remember, it was EA who held exclusive rights to Porsche for something like a 10 year period. They had it because of Need for Speed! But they did nothing else with the license. A lot of sim racers were rather miffed with this. I remember this battle raging when iRacing first came out around 2008!

Now that you have your study level jets now it's time to give the 3GX a refresh.

In my FSX days, I used to fly Eaglesoft's Citation X 750 Gen 2 almost exclusively. I thought it was a well designed add-on. I'm eagerly looking forward to the Longitude being released in January. I'll finally stop flying my Baron 58 (with realism mod) all over the lower 48 and start flying some long-distance flights to Alaska, Hawaii, S America, etc.
