Will grab it ASAP...

Since RC5 I noticed, and I'm not the only one, that even jet aircraft exhibit a rolling tendency, as per "torque" effect(?)

Yes. In the Vision jet I did a 'show forces' plus print joystick position to confirm it was zeroed and there was definitely rolling going on.

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...

Antialiasing doesn't appear to work.

Grime on Citation windscreen shifts objects it is obscuring a few pixels to the right or left  which looks horrible.

We're on RC6 and I still haven't got the sim to stop stuttering and don't think I ever will.

It is so poor in my experience.

According to some posts over on the .org, it's being discussed between 3rd-party devs and Laminar and will be fixed eventually.

Suggested workaround is to apply some aileron trim to counteract.

Here is how it looks now

Well,

- Rolling in jet aircraft with swept-back wings appears to be fixed(?);

- Since last version. METAR downloads are out of sync with real data;

Let's wait for RC7 🙂

If someone has some time for bug reporting, imho the A330 cockpit textures need a little love now the dark cockpit issues are otherwise resolved,  Im not really an art type guy so I'll leave it to those who are truly passionate about the way things look.

I'm glad it's not just me with antialiasing problems. I'm still using just the demo (R5). I get jaggies with all of the MSAA settings (maxed every other setting). FXAA looks 'best'. I've tried various combinations of the antialiasing settings/rendering resolution. It's as if the settings are getting over-ridden by something else. But I've tried deleting the program profile in NVIDIA CP; tried different global settings in the NVIDIA CP; deleted prefs; deleted the whole install and re-downloaded. (RTX3080 / 5800X). Plus VR performance is down the drain too. 🤷‍♂️

I'm betting AA comes along in the final RC. That's usually the final thing they look at for gfx.

Most of the stuttering complaints have gone away except for VR. Especially for those w/ your system specs. You're in the minority now. More likely something on your end.

Yeah, the AA is terrible, and the performance just isn't there. They were supposed to be launching mid-December, but it's hard to see how this goes live in the state that it's in.

Maybe they should just take a couple months to fix stuff properly. It's not like people are clamoring for the release; the early adopters like us already have access and anyone can get access if they really want to buy it.

The extra time will also give third party devs more time to get their planes released for XP12.

One needs a lot of patience with these sims. Hopefully we'll see consistent fluidity sometime later next year. I expect the FPS will always be lower than XP 11. And one by one, the serious bugs will no doubt get addressed. It still hasn't gone gold yet. Advancements are quite slow with XP. Vulkan & VR took over 12 months or more than initially announced in XP 11.

Yeah, I agree. It's not quite there yet, but there's potential. Maybe 2-4 months from now it will be 99% done.

30-50 FPS in NYC, sliders full right except 2xAA, healthy dose of clouds, default 738. No FPS jitter.

Perfectly usable: 6700xt + 12700k at 1080p.

I'm sure they'll go final: 3rd party devs are most likely chomping at the the bit for holiday spenders.

Yes, but ..  based on your comment history, you're not exactly the most objective when it comes to XP, are you?

I'm sure you believe that XP 12 is perfectly perfect in every perfect way, but even YOUR numbers aren't great.  With 2x AA you're getting 40 FPS at best with the default low-fidelity plane. and this is at 1080p on a beefy machine - not even 1440p, forget 4k!

I have a strong machine as well (5800X3D, 3090ti, 32GB RAM, NVME only), and XP 12 definitely needs work on the FPS/AA front. Maybe they'll fix it, get it up to XP 11 levels, but that's not happening in the next 10 days.
