I agree....I love bare metal liveries but they are tricky to paint correctly in MSFS. Sadly we'll never see a real 787 in "bare metal" livery since she is a carbon-fiber bird. 😞 Hehe....try to take the paint of her and buff the carbon-fiber as you would aluminum and all you'll get is a hole in the plane and a cloud of carbon-fiber dust. 🤣 @fscabral has done some excellent bare metal paints....by far my favs. Here is Western....just stunning Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

Yes, as Steve says, with the advent of carbon-fiber composites...the metal a/c will indeed be for the classics (liveries gradually giving way to mostly bland white fuselages with tweaks... 🙂...the mergers/acquisitions/alliances for survival aren't helping the colorful liveries either...)
