Fenix A320 TCA thurst lever help

Featured Replies

So I took the plunge and bought the Fenix A320. I have the Thrustmaster Airbus sidestick and thrust levers (no flap or spoilers...yet!).

MSFS can see the levers and they are assigned to the Throttle 1 (Joystick L-Axis Y) and Throttle 2 (Joystick L-Axis X axis.) Howewver once I'm in the A320, moving the actuak thrust levers does not move them in the flight deck and if I go in the MCDU to calibrate them it can't see the movement.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

IIRC that is because you need to assign the throttles in MSFS to some other, similar sounding control (like "throttle 1 0-100" or something, really can't remember, but that was the issue for others on the Fenix). Just try them all out until one works.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Sorry, I don't quite understand...assign the other throttles or these ones?

Yes that video is the one that got me up and running too.

I can highly recommend adding the flaps and spoiler levers etc, it’s a nice setup.

I followed that video but still the levers won't move, despite being assigned in the control options menu.

Strangely the thrust does go up and down when I move them BUT the levers themselves don't move.

In the throttle configuration screen do you see the input values changing when you move the throttles?

Yes.
This is what I see when the levers are at idle:

This is what I see when I go into reverse

I've just tried in the default A320NEO and they work fine (except they're reversed...!)

Thanks in advance for all your help!

I've noticed in the MCDU it says using default throttle profile. I've saved my throttle profile in MSFS as TCA Fenix A320. Could that be a problem?

You should at least calibrate the throttle in the MCDU menu and that should help.

I just checked and mine says using custom throttle profile.  I think as @DADmentioned you should go through and calibrate the throttle positions in the MCDU.

I’m having trouble with my Tca thrust levers don’t go to reverse  or climb etc for the Fenix A320 but my lever don’t line up with the aircraft but it’s like it way out of whack tbh
