After a lot of great support and advice from you guys here, I'm now loving flying the Fenix A320 around Europe.

I've always been a heavies guy (PMDG 777, QW 787 etc) and I'm hoping one will be available soon.

What do people think will be the first "Heavy" for MSFS?

The a310 and it’s already here 

Oh yea! What about modern heavies (777, A350, 787, A380 etc)?

The first "good" one will likely be the PMDG 777 if they don't change their plans. I also have no clue when the FBW A380 is due, though.

Forget about the qw787. They are dead!

What a  waste of money. I will never buy from them again.

I'm banking on PMDG 777, but the default B78X w/ Heavy Division Mod is decent but not study level at all but the basics work, LNAV/VNAV and I think can autoland though have yet to try it.  And I understand the default B747 w/ the Salty Simulations Mod which installs from the same FlyByWire installer FSLTL uses has become quite good.  I've not used it but am determined to soon!  I'm loathing migrating to Airbus so this may help me postpone that move even more!

I have a question for a self proclaimed "Heavy" lover. I like the 737 because I can do a 30 minute hop, or a 5 hour hop. In a Heavy, I feel like you have to do long hauls. Why is that enjoyable? Do you leave the PC running? What makes it fun? Genuinely curious, maybe I will change my mind.

Fear it not!  Learning a new aircraft is perhaps the most satisfying thing flight sims can offer you!

You don’t have to. Never really understood why people are locked down and only willing to fly real world flights operate day present day. Any flight that can be flown in a 737 can also be flown in a 777.

For you maybe!  I'm well on my way to becoming an FS luddite.  I love APLv2's scoring scheme and getting 99-100% is very satisfying and keeps me on my toes!  The sad thing is I'm currently flying for Air France and there aren't a whole lot of B738's in their fleet in fact I can't find even a decent fake livery!

In Japan they flew 747's on short haul routes, like Tokyo to Osaka.

And as micstatic said, there's no prohibition against flying really short routes in heavies.
