I had a “company message” ECAM message and was in the middle of checking that on the MCDU when it started banking.

I use an iPad as the EFB so don’t touch the one in the virtual cockpit.

The pic actually shows no aileron deflection at all in the ECAM display, are you sure it's not a hardware / control bind issue?

Yes exactly. However if you look at the side stick in the virtual cockpit you can see it’s at full right bank. I could see both the side stick and the rudder pedals moving (I use both the thrust master Airbus yoke and the rudder pedals) but they weren’t showing any control surface indications on the ECAM (that’s why I had the FCTL page displayed). It’s like the controllers were giving the right commands but the aircraft decided not to initiate them.

I've just managed to replicate this issue (inadvertently!).

It's all to do with Active Pause...if I pause the sim (using the PAUSE key on the keyboard) and then unpause it, it does not accept any control inputs at all.

 I did say before

Active pause is very weird in MSFS, and can break a lot of stuff. Would recommend using the pause from the dev menu instead!

Yes, active pause is best avoided at all costs, especially in complex addons.  In hte venerable PMDG737 if you use active pause, then come out of it, you lose the lateral modes on the autopilot.  You can re-engage them (if you notice!).

AHAH! lol that would explain why my 738 would turn randomly and ignore the flightplan after (pause at) TOD.

That was literally doing my head in. I've since stopped using pause at TOD.

You want to see a crash, use active pause.
