1000 Hours

Recommended Posts

Can’t believe I’m at 1000 hours! Well, 998 actually but on a five hour flight to Vegas. Just really enjoying the ride. Was a big GA guy forever but picked up the PMDG 736 in November and haven’t looked back, logging 170 hours on APL.

That's a lot hehe. I guess I'm around 700 though.  Almost all GA - still a heavy GA guy though I consider these new AAU1 bizjets GA as well.

Being retired has its advantages... I'm up to 1,564 hours. So far. 😉 Most of that in the FBW A32NX.

I'm sure there are others with more hours...

Congrats. I've been slowly creeping up to that milestone as well. Currently at 985 hours. So not long.

1150 here.  Mostly in the C172 steam gauge, but also a few in helicopters, microlights, twins and jets (which I really haven't got the hang of).

That's quite a respectable number then. I feel like I kind of started cheating when the big jetliners like the A320 or 737 were released and I went back to flying commercial routes again, like I did in P3D most of the time.

You can accumulate hours much faster by doing commercial aviation routes, than by flying GA in a Cessna.

Because if I fly GA, I really fly, in don't just let the autopilot carry me to cruise level and then do something else.

I’ll have to check mine  tonight, I’m curious now.

I do wish I had some sort of master logbook from all of my sim flying over the years…really not sure how much but certainly many 1000’s of hours going back to FS5.

I used to actually add an entry to the logbook of a new sim with a rolling total from previous sims, I think the last time I did that was FS2004-FSX and that was around 7000 hours.  I’m probably over 10k now.

97d 8h

Translates to 2336-ish hours. Now with the A310 it will surely increase much more 😛

Well, I do not know how many hours I have in my current flight simulator, but I can tell you how many hours I have in Assetto Corsa between 2014 and 2022.....

Isn't the number of hours flown in MSFS currently bugged?  The old logbook bug?

That counts for me as normal as far you not using time compression !

Just stupid to sit in front off the PC if you doeing long flights with the AP at flight level.

My logbook shows 1568h work of a lot long hauls..

cheers 😉

That's the beauty of retirement.  You don't have work to get in the way of your flight simming.
