February 12, 20233 yr I bumped into this a few weeks ago while considering turning around and going right back to Universal/Disney after my recent trip there earlier this year. I stored the info at the bottom of my mental lint trap, but now I'm thinking about it again, and wondering at frontiers reasoning/motive. If you can get folks to pay you $1200 a year and they get a seat that would have otherwise been empty, then it's a money-maker. Otherwise... We'll see if Frontier is still around in a few years. My guess is that they will be bought out and merged into another airline. Although I can't afford to travel any longer, I did read the entire page. One item I noted is rather confusing: Quote Flights do not include any add-on products (like bags or seats)... I suspect thier lawyers probably constructed this plan to give Frontier every Advantage possible, but paying extra for an actual seat sounds like something guaranteed to bring the regulators a'runnin.
