If the MSFS version was even a fraction as good as their P3D extended version (which I also own) there wouldn't be a problem.

What is your problem?

But it's true!  We we given a poor sound set at the beginning, and told it was good, there were things such as no trim animations and told they couldn't be done due to 'performance' issues, and as usu

The CRJ was and will continue to be my last purchase from Hans Hartman and the people at Aerosoft. Wish them the best of the luck though.

Awful systems modelling, dreadful sounds, an appalling lack of care and attention.

Not a problem for me.

Your answer did lack detail.

Where did you post your problems? I would like to go read about all that.

Anytime I run into a "systems" problem with any aircraft I just treat it as an in flight emergency and deal with it.

So far no problems for me with the Aerosoft Twin Otter for MSFS2020.

I may fly into Misty's Place (Misty Moorings / water runway) today.

I'm genuinely happy you enjoy the plane, but for me it was a crushing disappointment and that difference in opinion is just the nature of things I guess.

Strangely, the Aerosoft Twin Otter, the subject of this topic, albeit, originally the MSFS version.

Thanks for the reply.

So, not released by Aerosoft for P3D6 and no installer for P3D6, correct?

Correct.
As far as I am aware, it has not even been released for P3D v5, at least, the installer that I have does not list it as an option.
In case you are also the bootleg software police, I have included my proof of purchase information.
I am sure that you will not mind that I have not included the order numbers.

So... What happened? I remember their Twotter being very good in the FSX/p3d version. Did they lose all their good devs in the interim or something? Or am I remembering with rose-tinted glasses?

if I buy the Twotter from Simmarket ('cause it's still available) will I be able to install it via Aerosoft One? Don't want to risk my money if it's not possible. Thanks!

Read this at SimMarket:

Where's the link for purchase/download as this is news to me?😶  Simmarket stopped selling the Otter a long time ago when Aerosoft pulled it...  I bought it when it came out, removed it until it was fixed, lost the download I had on file, and found they froze my ability to download again when they blocked it (forget about 'Aerosoft One' which you get directed to when it worked). There wasn't even a heads up, poof money gone, no refund on anything...

Were you are talking about using the Aerosoft Twin Otter MSFS2020 in P3D6?

Or the MSFS FSX Deluxe version?

Aerosoft's quality just dropped for MSFS across the board it seemed. Their CRJ also had its fair share of problems. Not sure if that's lack of care, lack of expertise with the MSFS SDK or what.

I just went to Aerosoft One.

Got an update that P3D6 is now supported.

Checked my installed products and my Twin Otter purchase is listed under MSFS2020 section.

Note:

My purchase was directly from Aerosoft.
