My problem is that I cannot get the overlay to work in 531.29. This is what I see inside GeForce Experience. If I use any of the later drivers, the overlay works ok.

Maybe uninstall using DDU and reinstall. Make sure you also select Experimental features and enable In game overlay.

Latest version of GeForce Experience is 3.27.0.112, in case you are not aware. Looks like you are some versions behind. 😉

Sorry to report that 535.98 doesn't fix the problem for me, with either DX11 or DX12. Still have random CTDs ever since SU12 -- never happened before. Changing drivers makes no difference.

If it's also crashing with DX11, it's not the driver bug, Asobo has mentioned!

Driver is working well with my 3060TI and DX12 but I don't use GeForce Experience or filters or any GPU tuning software.

Cheers

Holy cow, the amount of bugs in this release is nuts. Suffice to say, if you have a multi monitor setup, don’t update!

Also LOD popping seems to be gone and panning is much smoother.

DLSS gauge bluriness is also gone.  Yay

Make sure your settings are exactly the same as they were before. There was a sim update, which sometimes changes the sim graphic settings for some people, and your Nvidia control settings may also have changed if you installed the driver using the clean option or used DDU.

FWIW, I'm not using this latest driver and don't see any LOD popping and my panning is smooth. Also no DLSS blurriness if I use the DLSS DLAA option instead of Quality.

I've also noticed a sharper image and it's smoother.

I didn't notice this LOD pop up.

Here I am with Dx12, DLSS3 (frame generation) and DLAA. No CTD.

Taken from the IN to show the 2 options that need to be enabled.

The version does not matter ….

Multi monitor setup, installed the 535.98's yesterday morning. When opening programs, moving the mouse, etc., both monitors would go black for several seconds. Rolled back to previous drivers.

From NVIDIA 9hr ago:

When using multiple monitors which support adaptive sync, users may see random flicker on certain displays when G-SYNC is enabled after updating to driver 535.98 [4138119] -> We have identified the root cause and will be providing a fix soon. Stay tuned.
