Not sure why Fielder decided to resurrect this old thread, but note all the posts here were before MS/Asobo gave much more clarity about MSFS 2024 at FSExpo >= June 23rd, when everyone was lighting their hair on fire going purely by the first teaser trailer focusing on missions lol. Aside from the FAQ, the best source of info we currently have on MSFS 2024 is their presentation at the conference along with some detailed interviews below. We likely won't get any more info until Spring'24 per what Jord said on the last Q&A stream, but I'm hoping we get tidbits at least before eoy. Although, it can be pointed out that even now not all developers have grappled with the new CFD implementations and updated their aircraft. MSFS 2024. Ya, I'm guessing aircraft devs won't get early access to the 2024 SDK until 1Q/2Q'24 at the earliest. At the very least the 3rd party devs would want to take advantage of the more precise/varied geometry definitions of their birds (in the FSExpo presentation Seb does say they'll be providing various dev tools to help with this so let's see).
