iniBuilds London Stansted (EGSS) Announcement

The trailer wasn’t all that great, honestly. Focused too much on the terminal interior, which I genuinely couldn’t give two word not alloweds about. Gonna wait for an actual review. Taxiway and runway lights, markings, and textures are really what tend to make/break a scenery for me. I hope they’re also actively focusing on performance with this scenery. LA, NY, & Heathrow are great benchmarking airports, but it’s nice to be able to just fly to an airport without worrying if your system will freeze on arrival.

While I can appreciate, there are some of us that like the interior details, I would argue that there are many more who would love to have a robust and high density Airport apron environment. It would be splendid to see all the effort dedicated to terminal interiors, applied to texturing and objects on the airport apron where I would actually see him from the cockpit.

Obviously, there must be some interest and a certain segment of the buying public that appreciate interior detail at airports. I am not one of them, and hope that added attention is given to the apron environment as development continues.

A realistic apron, along with all applicable ground clutter and completely accurate Navaids and airport lighting and marking, is much more important to me.

Ok I keep seeing youtubers praising the ground textures and I'm starting to wonder if I'm suffering from some sort of bug.

Can someone who has the airport check if they see what I see? IE: aircraft painted on the ground (more or less transparent) like in the pictures below? They're not at every gate and taxiway, but they sure look bad where they do exist.

That is quite clearly a bug.

The underlying satellite imagery is coming through. You can even see double markings where the markings are coming through as well, it's not just aircraft.

Check if you have any conflicting addons.

I don't have any other add-on covering Stanstead, so I wonder what could be making the ground textures be more transparent than they should be. That's not a behavior I've seen before. Looks like I'm in for a long night.

Thanks for the input.

I had a conflict with EGLL & LVFRs Static Aircraft. Might not be what’s causing your issue, but could be a starting point.

Don't use static aircraft, unfortunately, so that won't help. But thanks for trying 😄

Edit: Definitely a  conflict with some other add-on, it appears. Loading only the airport solves the issue. Of course, now I have to go find which one causes the problem... which is gonna be a nightmare haha....

Edit 2: Thank goodness! Simply loading the scenery last with the new reorder tool solved the issue. I'd still like to find out the culprit, but it's a decent temporary solution at least.

I haven’t made the purchase for this yet, but from the trailer it looks like AI parking isn’t reflecting real life?

Sat 1 (11-25) - Jet2, TUI, Emirates, Pegasus, Turkish and any other ad hoc

Sat 2 (30-45) - Ryanair Group, EasyJet and Play

Sat 3 (50-65) - exclusive to Ryanair Group

70-90 stands - mainly Ryanair

can anyone confirm if this is the set up inibuilds have done or is everything parking anywhere?

If you want real life parking you should consider using PSXTraffic, the only program that can give you that.
