June 27, 20232 yr You are thinking of Matt Davies. As for flightsim shows, I am praying to as many gods as I can (and possibly sending gifts to Scott @ JustFlight) that the UK event returns in 2024 🙏 Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

June 27, 20232 yr I went and had a great time, I got to meet a lot of people. I did some seminars, I also drooled over all the great hardware out there. The best part is you can demo everything. The topping on the cake, I was a grand prize winner of a NLR sim pit. This is something I always dreamed about. If you can ever go you wont be disappointed and everybody there was happy and smiling and friendly. The only people I couldn't connect with were the Microsoft guys Jorg and Sebastian they seemed like rock stars. I'll see you next year aaaaaat...." He said nice try. 🙂 Not sure if he even knows yet. He mentioned that with this year's record-breaking attendance, our little niche hobby actually can entertain Convention Center - level venues...and he's going to look into that in next year's planning, so great things coming! Nice good try it would be cool to see more vendors and simulators at the show. The last one I attended was way back in 2002 when it was held in Lake Tahoe. We had a full A320 cockpit, an F18 setup that folks could demo lining up and launch off the catapult (DCS) with all the HOTAS controls, more VR headsets than I could count...motion and fixed based sims, the Asobo/MS, XPlane and Lockheed P3D teams were all there. And when you were not geeking out about all the Sim-stuff....there was things like this all around to gawk at: If anything, I was overwhelmed by too many things to look at. 🙂 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
