My main concern is (not having read your links):

1. Official updates to 3rd party aircraft.

2. See above.

3. See above again. 

If I have to fly included fighter jets the platform is utterly irrelevant for me. For you early adopters; please don't misconstrue this as trolling as I would really like a V6 besides my V5.4, XP and MSFS. I have no affiliation to either as they all have their pros and cons. I just like to have more to choose from. Simple as that.

absolutely, but alas, it seems we'll need to hack installers & paths to gain compatibility for the foreseeable future.

It's ironic to me that the LM aircraft addons in LMs own simulator aren't all that great (and don't even get me started on their 2 latest ones...). And running the MFDs cuts fps nearly in half...sigh.

There should be no better F-16 simulator available, yet i'm pretty sure LMs addons are pretty much in last place... 😞

I'm unable to get a lot of aircraft working in v6 because it won't let you interact with any of the switches or controls in the virtual cockpit.

The C-47 which is made by Manfred Jahn, (I think) this one: https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/24305/fsx-douglas-c-47-skytrain-dc-3-mega-pack/   that works ok, although it does have a text based panel to work with.

Any civilian airliners I download from sites like simviation, they just won't work at all, they show up ok, but no joy with clicking on buttons and switches etc.🙄

I once heard an LM employee give a talk where he stated that the models in the box with P3D are not even made by LM. Apparently they outsource them to avoid any potential for sensitive data to make its way into the public product and they have much better models for their military customers we will never get our hands on.

Yes, absolutely true - they bought the rights to a bunch of Lockheed Martin addons from MilViz, India Foxt Echo, Virtavia, etc., but still...at the end of the day it's their name on the box, so to speak.
