July 20, 20232 yr Aircraft losing power on the takeoff roll. Have serched this forum with no resultsย ๐ Edited July 20, 20232 yr by Beagle12 Update text
July 20, 20232 yr Author Blacksquare bonanza, and speed never gets above 60kts, so I abort the takeoff.
July 20, 20232 yr I don't have this aircraft but lets see... Are you losing power orย not gaining power ? I mean do you see a decrease of the MP and/or RPM during the rollย or you just can't rev up the Bonanza to the recommended settings ? Assuming that you don't take off at high altitude, your mixture setup is set on rich ?ย Dominique Simming since 1981 -ย [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8ย GB VRAM running a 27"ย @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam ย
July 20, 20232 yr Author Not at a high altitudeย - at sea level. Yes Iย see a decrease of the MP and/or RPM during the takeoff roll. With throttle to the wall it builds up to 60kts but nothing more.

July 20, 20232 yr Check your assistance settings and make sure you don't have assisted takeoff set to on.
July 20, 20232 yr Make sure that the in-game flight model is set to MODERN. Edited July 20, 20232 yr by Reader
July 20, 20232 yr If none of the above suggestions work, perhaps post a video of your take-off, someone might spot an issue or can identify its exact behavior and point to the cause [MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro] ย
July 20, 20232 yr Another thing to check, as I have experienced this with the Black Square Bonanza and Baron myself, is to check the health of the engine on the weather radar in the cockpit. As you were learning the aircraft, and figuring out how to get it started, you could have caused damaged to the engine, which is simulated in the Black Square aircraft. Also, in the BS aircraft, it is imperative that you follow the startup checklists verbatim.ย AMD Ryzen 9900X3D & ASUS X870E Gaming Plus MB,ย w/64 Gb GSkill DDR5 RAM, PNY RTX 5090 GPU, lots of SSD's and M.2 drives, HAVNย Case,ย Virpil VPC Panels 2 and 3, Virpil Constellation Alpha Stick, Virpil Rotor TCS Plus w/ Hawk-60 Collective grip, TM TCA Yoke Boeing Edition, TM HOTAS A-10 and F/A-18 Sticks and TM TPR Rudder pedals. July 20, 20232 yr Beagle12,ย not sure if you checked, but I had something similar with the Twin Hawker. I was using HC TwinJet config and inadvertently had the "second engine" control set to idle.ย The Hawker engine would increase to max, but suddenly roll back. When I moved the "unused throttle control" to max, normal operation was restored. Check your controllers for a conflict.
