PMDG B737 update 3.0.70 online

Based on my observation during a brief test flight from KEWR to KJFK.

LCD digits for MCP and clock issue not fixed, can't be deemed.

During the cleaning-up process following takeoff and acceleration, there are sudden abrupt changes in pitch and the deck angle changes.

The actual aircraft has a smooth ride and is not hunting for speed so much.

The same issue with the FD before and after the turn; first, it will spike left/right and some lag in indications.

Also, before and after the turn as it was before the update, it can be noticed the aircraft is banking left/right, and then it will continue to the correct direction of flight. The real airplane will turn in/out of turn smoothly and stable without any intermediary turns and bank changes.

Still problems with turn anticipation at any WPT, custom WPTs, and intercepts. They are having trouble comprehending between how ground speed, degrees of turn, and distance to the WPT are all related to a accurate anticipation.

The airplane is still very sensitive during taxi, take off, pitch, and roll, as is the case with most of the Asobo's aircraft. Other developers managed to overcome this problem.

I'm certain that the real pilots involved in testing this project brought up all these obvious issues.

It is concerning that there are still known issues that have not been resolved after over a year since its release. This is not a positive indication. I am not interested in EFB or any upcoming projects if they cannot address the issues that are apparent. Regrettably, I do not plan on buying any more PMDG products based on their current business practices.

The flight model, in particular LNAV, is quite frankly garbage right now.

For real, the weather leaves a little t to be desired. Going on 10 months and yet to see lightning and I fly a lot in the southeast US. Such a joke Metoblue / Asobo implementation is….

There was a thunderstorm the other day departing KIAH and - there were lighting and thunder! Nothing happened flying through some of the storm though, smooth ride mostly...

You won't get type rated in PMDG 737 either LOL So "realistic" is matter of interpretation . For example I can't pull any circuit breaker in PMDG 737 it's no realistic but PMDG and we live with this shortcoming  🙂

I think you misunderstood what I was saying.

I just flew a leg in the updated version, and the LNAV roll behavior is still up a duck's butt--so violently erratic that the virtual flight attendants had to cancel cabin service and stay strapped-in while the pax prayed aloud.  Argh...two months of twitching its way across the virtual skies and still going...they've been quashing complaints about this in their forums with something like "we know about it and there's a fix in the next update."  Well, here we are with the "next" update and there's no fix.

The PMDG guys sure seem to have lost some of their mojo to allow something so obvious and in your face to fester for so long.

Maybe FlyByWire could work up some magic on the 737 - clearly PMDG is not able.

I gave up on the 737 a couple of months ago and rejoined the Fenix A 320. Everything works well.

The reports of the last two updates haven't been very positive. Thankfully I skipped this update along with the previous one. I'm happy with the way the 737 flies on 3.0.65.

Yea, I have also set it aside which is a shame, it has a lot of potential but is really burdened by a few long-standing and key issues. For the next couple of months I will only be flying the Comanche so hopefully they will get some of this sorted by the time I want to return it

History repeats itself. The garbage was already there with their aircraafts in P3D !! Years of promises, bla bla bla, but the substance? Garbage was and garbage remained. Mr. Randazzo is an excellent salesman, he understood better than anyone that the important thing is to promise, to promise and again to promise shamelessly. I would propose a new advertising slogan to PMDG: "if you are looking for promises, contact us, we will never disappoint you" I hope you have better luck than us in P3D, but I doubt it, you've already paid, so.........you're satisfied.

Given the experience of the latest PMDG  so called updates, I'll gladly skip it.

PMDG in the latest six months or more have introduced more bugs than corrected old ones with these little upgrades.

I don't agree with this. PMDG products in P3D were much more refined and bugs-free. Now they are just above average, but they are not special anymore.

See  that nothing  has  changed  when  there  is  a  pmdg  thread, take it  all the  users  in here  have  submitted  support  tickets  in  for  all  the  bugs  they  say  there  are.

Non sono d'accordo con questo. I prodotti PMDG in P3D erano molto più raffinati e privi di bug. Ora sono appena sopra la media, ma non sono più speciali.

So it is true that Mr. Randazzo is also a healer. Where can I find the same cure ?

So I take it roll behavior is not worse in this update, but unchanged? What about engine spool behavior, especially below 40% N1? Is that fixed?
