Best scenic route to fly in the Fenix that's under 1 hour?

Recommended Posts

SAME to SCEL (cross the Andes), be prepared to climb high and fast and descend quickly, but scenic it is! When doing that flight think about the pioneers who did fly that same route on a single engine airplane with no IFR equipment, during winter, and no possibility to climb above the main peaks either because the weather would not allow it or their engine was not powerful enough (not to mention they had no oxygen and open cockpits). They were doing that for mail!!! Np passenger. Some even had to crash land somewhere because of engine failure and walk their way to the next village like the French pilot Guillaumet who ended up after several days walking in the snow with frozen feet and fingers: " What I did, no animal would have done it!"

Just a bit over, but YYC-YVR is my favourite.

This is also one of my favorites.

Turn off live weather or set to a few clouds, so you can enjoy those beautiful Rocky Mountains below.

I second that. New Zealand is amazing from above and short distances.
