Can someone confirm the snow coverage bug is fixed? Check out PAYA, PAJN, and NZMC if you can. Those are the places that spring to mind that had the best examples of the bug.

Paya, no snow but hard to see anything because the METAR is this:

My settings, in assistance or anything else, did not change at all when I loaded the beta. I'm not sure why it isn't that way for others. (I did empty the community folder for testing the beta however). Nothing was reset to easy in Assistance menu.

NZMF? Still hard winter over there?

I can't swear to it, but things just seem to look better in any season, anywhere. Colors, clouds. Summer in the Alps etc.

Yes

Bummer. So the fix will get rid of unrealistic ice on water but coverage is still totally bugged I guess. Understandable, because this would mean better data from meteoblue I guess. Pity...

It was supposed to fix snow coverage too.

It would be a beautiful thing if they could pivot in 2024 and ditch meteoblue.  I love winter flying.

It's not a meteoblue issue, it's how MSFS is reading the data.

Do we know that?  I mean it's quite possible meteoblue is providing the wrong resolution.  Yet also possible that MSFS is pulling the wrong snow cover resolution.

Well it was said last dev Q&A that MSFS was converting units of measurement wrong.
