I wish they would put flight analysis like fs9 had.  Anytime during flight could go in and se how your doing, actually change your position and retry maybe an ils without every getting out of the sim

It's from one of the past Q&As.

Crazy to think how close it is at this point...

What am I missing with the ini A320N.  Is it expected to be significantly better than the FBW?

5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW  and 2  22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU,  360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Jorg said aiming for a SU14 release, it could easily slip.

Jorg said they were aiming for A310 quality, so take that as you will.

With no evidence whatsoever, I suspect this is to get a high(er) fidelity A320 onto the Xbox.....

I guess they wanted something more than just WT avionics update.

A few things:

Jorg wants to improve the default airplanes. The FBW, while great, still uses the cockpit model from the default A320N which is incorrect. There is a slope to the glareshield that is not there in real life and once you get used to the Fenix, it REALLY looks wrong. I am one of those people, that as great as teh FBW is, has a hard time getting past that.

Why the A32N instead of something else? Licensing is my bet. They have the licensing for the A32n already. This one also won't replace the default since doing so would require them to rework the landing challenges, etc., that use that.

They have said, "as good as the A310, or better." For me, my hope is it's vatsim ready and does the FINAL_APP stuff the FBW doesn't.

yeah.  I guess it would be neat.  But I'm big time A320'd out.
