That tail, was a disaster waiting to happen.

I did my PPL on one in 1988.  Even learned to spin one as it was still in the PPL curriculum then.  Everything else was far more passive after that.

I doubt they ever will at this point...if anyone would be granted access it would probably be MS/Asobo/Inibuilds to win their hearts and minds software developer wise.

They got Mitsubishi/Mooney to bite somehow with the MU-2...so who knows.

Doubt it.
Cockspur are probably trying to pull a Carenado in not naming the manufacturer. However, unlike Carenado with their XL560 Citation or E50P Phenom, G650 is a trademark.

That is where many were killed in that aircraft, get into a spin, the tail would warp, and they would spin right into the ground.

I hated doing stalls in those things too, the tail used to bang like someone kicking a dustbin down a road.

I’d still like one in the sim to relive my terror in VR.

The just flight tomahawk in xp11 flew very nicely.

According to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Air Safety Foundation, which published a Safety Highlight report on the Piper Tomahawk, the Piper Tomahawk has a one-third lower accident rate per flying hour than the comparable Cessna 150/152 series of two-place benchmark trainers. The Tomahawk has a higher rate of fatal spin accidents per flying hour. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) estimated that the Tomahawk's stall/spin accident rate was three to five times that of the Cessna 150/152.[3]

According to the NTSB, the Tomahawk's wing design was modified after FAA certification tests, but was not retested.[3] Changes included reducing the number of full wing ribs and cutting lightening holes in the main spar.[4] The aircraft's engineers told the NTSB that the changes made to the design resulted in a wing that was soft and flexible, allowing its shape to become distorted and possibly causing unpredictable behavior in stalls and spins.[4] The design engineers said that the GAW-1 airfoil required a rigid structure because it was especially sensitive to airfoil shape, and that use of a flexible surface with that airfoil would make the Tomahawk wing "a new and unknown commodity in stalls and spins."[4]

Airworthiness Directive 83-14-08 issued in September 1983 mandated an additional pair of stall strips to be added to the inboard leading edge of the PA-38 wing to "standardize and improve the stall characteristics".[5]

All I said is the issue that caused the EFB delay has nothing to do with developing the aircraft, because it's not part of the actual aircraft simulation. That's a simple, technical fact. So it's not going to hold up development of the 777, as proven by the 737. No idea why you thought that post was needed.
