Which aircraft by Christmas ?

Featured Replies

The Black Square Piston Duke and Turbine Duke won´t release in 2023 anymore. The Fenix V2 release is highly unlikely and will probably release in spring.

The "incoming PMDG 777 release" was just a hoax (but there was still a close-up shot of the gear published which means in the next 24 months there will probably be a 777.)

There is only one masterpiece of airplane left that was not already cancelled as christmas present and as 2023 release.... 😉 One last precious airplane that still stands as release 2023:

The Carenado C-207 is supposed to be coming out tomorrow (12/12).

I know Carenado aren't liked by everyone, but their recent GA releases have been pretty good actually.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Maybe Microsoft/Asobo could do a Santa Claus Sleigh ride addition? that would be cool. Even cooler would be another MSFS 2024 preview, No?

I’ve definitely flown a sleigh in MSFS… can’t remember for sure but I thought it was an Asobo release?

I wonder what happened to the Aerosoft A330?  And the relaunch of the Twin Otter (that was supposed to be a matter of weeks away - back in the summer!).  I am not sure if I trust them anymore or if I would buy anything from them ever again anyway.

Then there was the Wing42 Lockheed Vega from ages back.  Are Wing42 still going?

Your wish is already fullfilled:

But what is even more exciting is this:

Did someone say "APU"? 😉

Looks like strong competition with the Fenix we will get soon. Awesome!!

And it gets even better! One version I have seen has the authentic 1983 Jaeger DDRMI:

But I have noticed a difference, one A300-600 has six engine gauges and another one has five. Is this instrumentation a difference between General Electric and P&W?

That’s the one I was thinking of…it’s a good bit of fun, especially if you have young kids.  I didn’t manage to land on the roof of my house though haha.

It'll be coming back as one of the default aircraft in MSFS2024. There is a thread on the Aerosoft forum in which MK kind of let it slip by not denying it.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

I'm really hoping for the A300....she is still actively flying with many freighter companies.

Will we get it before Christmas?  Well...I'm not a believer until I hear it....ready for it?...   "Straight from the horses mouth".  🤣

What about the FSS ERJ-195? They were indicating a Christmas release followed by the 190.

That's a beautiful instrument alright

787 captain.

Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.

But I have seen iniBuilds messed this up and put some random different DDRMI in the MSFS version of the A300-600 than the authentic DDRMI of the X-Plane version.

Is there any chance to get a MSFS A300 version with the six pairs of engine gauges and the original fully analogue DDRMI? At least the EPIC cockpit mod with the MCDU-style IDC radio panel will be implemented which was the best news ever!

Not the A380, sorry.

But we're making progress.

2024 will be the year it seems...
