November 29, 20232 yr From what I can see you go flaps 1 or even gear down then flaps one. Try going flaps one then flaps 2 at like 10 miles out then around 5-6 miles go gear down flaps 3 and then flaps full see if that solves anything.

He also has GSX running, so certainly not a clean install in the video. Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
November 29, 20232 yr What's your actual Vapp set in the APPR page of the FMGC for flaps full? The aircraft wants to slow to a Vapp below stall speed as soon as flaps full is selected so Alpha floor protection activates. The speed target is the issue here, it's wrong for whatever reason.

I think it was at 135... but Airbus does that automatically

Are you sure your addons aren't still active in the background even if they aren't installed in your community folder? There are lots of addons that run alongside the sim without being in the community folder - FSR comes to mind which is known to screw up the flight model of the Fenix depending on its settings. Why don't you just tell us what addons you use? Are you genuinely looking for help or just wanting to pose us a riddle? Edited November 29, 20232 yr by RALF9636

You don't use the tablet in your videos (I'm assuming you have it linked to an iPad off screen) and so I can't compare with your simbrief numbers, but if you have incorrect numbers for weights you can also end up with a Vapp below stall. I've had this happen once in icing conditions, but that issue has been fixed in the Fenix and there are no icing conditions anyway in the videos.

In that case the stall speeds would be higher at preceding flap setting as well, but as far as I can see they're normal then and only abnormal at flaps full.

Yes, I use the tablet externally, but in the last few videos I took the tablet on the plane. I retrieve the flight plan via Simbrief and load it directly into the plane

November 29, 20232 yr Author Hi, Yes, I can look at SPADNext later. But SPADNext for me at Airbus is my FIP, Multpanel and Radio Panel. Actually, Thrustmaster TCA hardware is not set up in SPADNext at all. I made the settings for TCA directly in MSFS. But I'd like to take a look this evening
