Since updating Plan-G (latest 282) my airport icons no longer show and that's after redoing the  databse, how do I get them back pleas.

Why not ask Plan-G on their support forum?

Haven't used Plan-G for a long time but I seem to recall that after the database has finished loading you also have to go to the Data tab and select Display MSFS Data.

 

 

Could someone be kind to try getting in to Plan-Gs forum or website, as this past week it's being directed to another site, also when updating the chart it has lost all its airports and data!

I think you might want to give up on Plan-G and switch to Little Nav Map. Anytime a website goes down with a new hosting message, that typically says that they have given it up. I had no idea Plan-G even still supported MSFS. You might be trying to stick with a dead product at this point.

I use LNM as my main chart, but Plan-G has items which are not shown on LNM, like masts and disused airfields!

I think you need to move on. That program looks like it's dead and I wouldn't expect updates. 

I think Plan-G is probably dead for MSFS2024.
I have thousands of scenery managed by Addons Linker (version MSFS2024).
Sceneries activated by AL are visible in Plan-G (data base built by indicating the address of Community).
I continue to use Plan-G to choose my flights, most often short distance, and to keep them in memory for a few days to remind me where I am between the different regions of the globe where I fly.
(On long flights, I can also use Flight Planner)

Hi everybody. Hopefully Plan-G is not dead.

I found this note on Plan-G Facebook page where Tim Arnot , on February 12 at 3:30 a.m. , says that:

I think that Plan-G uses Open Street Map, which LNM also uses. Would those masts and disused airfields not be something that Open Street Maps is showing you, not necessarily data that is being read from MSFS?

Fair point. Looks like it’s alive after all 

Plan-G is online again (https://plan-g.app/) with an updated version.

No mention of compatibility with 2024. It only says MSFS. Given the hoops that LNM had to go through to read the database for 2024, I wonder if Plan-G has also managed to get that sorted. Anybody try it in 2024 yet?
