January 26, 20242 yr Good news. Per their facebook post they will be doing a major update to this product. This is great because it wasn't great before. At the same time the handcrafted was also lacking. Inibuilds said on thier discord that they likely won't do atlanta because it has too much photogrammetry and it would be worse than JFK on performance. so this may be our best shot 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

There were a fair few criticisms of their very recent WSSS scenery just based on the release marketing shots. https://fselite.net/content/imaginesim-releases-wsss-singapore-for-msfs/?ht-comment-id=13391199 AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440) Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter
January 26, 20242 yr Author I'm not a big fan either. January 26, 20242 yr If they finish Atlanta and do a good job, I am happy to support them through future purchases. I appreciate their efforts to right the ship, and will wait and watch with enthusiastic excitement. GREAT DECISION @ImagineSim Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
January 26, 20242 yr Author I've always been frustrated with atlanta ever since p3d. We always get a mediocre version, but never something ever top tier. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
January 26, 20242 yr I'm just happy that we no longer have to see that odd blob of light on the terminal. Looked like someone was shining one of those car dealer searchlights on it. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440

January 26, 20242 yr I'm a little leery when it comes to ImaginesIm. They left us hanging with the original Atlanta for 2020 when it first came out. I can't imageine the PG would be any more difficult then LAX or JFK. It would have been a money maker for sure. Lets hope they decided on DFW for a future project. They just seem to be one of the few to tackle such a giant project like this in decent time. I'd like to see some more screenshots on this new scenery and a change log. But some questions. -New end around taxi way on south side. -Looks like ground clutter is still only on the extreme sides of the terminals and pretty desolate in the middles. -Jetways: Assume will remain default? -Delta tech ops area. Will it have the new glass box print we see today. Will it have the step down elevation. It's down a big hill from the taxiway. -Cargo area with convincing clutter and proper afcad. Lots of questions at this point. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
January 26, 20242 yr Why does it need PG? Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
January 26, 20242 yr 1 hour ago, Christopher Low said: Why does it need PG? I think what they mean is that they PG already there is a major performance drain and basically makes it impossible to do big hub like KATL decently. As for ImagineSim - no thanks, I wouldn't even bother thinking about buying anything from a developer that takes three (!) years (released in january 2021) to update their awfully disappointing KATL. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
January 26, 20242 yr Author I’ll consider it. If it’s better than asobo which isn’t much. It’s the busiest airport in the world.
