I was wondering the same... they seem to be gone.  The beautiful colors SW of Eleuthera island seem to be gone.  I couldn't find any beautiful reef backdrops.  Google maps shows it.  Didn't they have this issue after the release of another WU?

MSFS and ASOBO did it again.

Perhaps one day they will get an update right.

Lets see how long they ignore user comments this time. Better yet lets see how long if ever, it takes them to fix this regression.

Rant done.

PS. Love the other stuff in the update.

I mean look at this!  MYNN Atlantis area... their water looks completely different than mine... I've got ultra as well...  I don't have the giant reef in the water...  this is empty Community folder with Ultra settings.

I think they need to flatten that bump in the water before Isaac Newton sees it.

Good grief, they don’t do themselves any favours. I mean, forgetting / borking the water masks in an island update…

Yeah the airports are really nice and the POIs looked cool.  But really the water masks.... for islands... lol - that's why everyone wants to fly here!!  Maybe it's a server issue and due to demand the servers aren't streaming out the high quality reefs.

What a shame. I was looking forward to some improved Caribbean waters. Instead after the World Update Caribbean now the Caribbean looks worse than before and has lost all its appeal.

Hopefully it is just some kind of temporary server issue. I don't want to believe they completely screwed up an update again.

BTW did anybody check if the watermasks we had before come back when you uninstall WU16?

Can’t check until much later; everyone restarting the sim after installing?

Of course. If you wouldn't not even the POI's would show up.

I did find some near the new airport TTCP - there's some odd imagery lines but they are there
