Looks like an MS Store version issue.

I'm looking into it now. No need for further log files unless yours is MS Store version and it is working properly thanks.

I have the same problem. With the new autoFPS update it stopped working.

I'm having the same issue as Cpt Piett......no frame gen and clouds stuck on low setting.

I did a fresh install of auto FPS but the same results.

I'll try and send you a copy of the log.

Its working fine in MSFS 2020 so its something after todays update for MSFS 2024 that's changed for me. Was working fine before the update today in 2024.

My MSFS 2024 is the PC Game pass version....so its the MSFS store.

Got it. Yours didn't work properly either.

No more log files everyone. I have everything I need.

Also, I recommend MS Store users not run this app until I resolve this.

I think I've got it. Can someone with the MS Store MSFS 2024 version please install https://github.com/ResetXPDR/MSFS_AutoFPS/releases/download/v0.4.4.1-RC/MSFS_AutoFPS-installer-v0.4.4.1-RC2.exe and tell me if the app is now working again with MSFS 2024, including correct FG detection. It works for my Steam version. Thanks.

Edit: Installing over the top is fine, in fact preferred, for this test as I want to make sure the app recovers from the wrong offset being found with the previous edition. Thanks.

Downloading now. Will update this post as soon as I've tested FG, clouds etc.

Launched now RC2, noticed I have clouds on low, even if "decrease cloud quality" is disabled.

FG recognition is working for me now - Well Done!

But as I think somebody else reported earlier, I am seeing cloud quality being lowered to Low even though "Decrease Cloud Quality" is not selected under expert options.

RC2 fixed it for me

At first, I did "update" and had low clouds.

Uninstalled and installed from scratch, now clouds are on high (same airport, same weather, etc).

P.S.

Yes as you wrote, manually put them back to high in 2024 settings.

When you say lower to low, do you mean it is going from medium to low or it is set to low?

In any case, the previous version may have messed up your original MSFS settings. Exit the app, set your settings, including clouds, as you would like by default, then run the app again. Let me know if it is still an issue.

I have it set to High in MSFS options. Auto FPS is lowering the cloud settings from high to low when I start the session. 

I will try re-installing as ConairMSFS did and report back.
