With 0.4.4.8 OLOD is no longer automated to an altitude schedule for MSFS 2024, as it was found to only have negligble performance impact when adjusted this way anyway and OLOD is now subsumed into the overall settings reduction an VRAM+ features. 

Just set your OLOD to what ever you want it to be in MSFS settings before you start AutoFPS. If you are using VRAM+, OLOD can still reduce by up to half but only when your VRAM usage exceeds 98% (default). Similarly, OLOD can still reduce by up to half as the first stage of automatice settings reduction, if you are using that feature.

Can't download. The file are being flagged as an virus. Tried different browsers and permissions but no avail.

• If the installer did not download or is zero size, try redownloading again with a different browser and possibly with AV temporarily disabled if required. It should be about 1.5Mb in size.

It worked, thank you. Kaspersky didn't like auto fps, at all.

Then make sure you follow the instructions to use VRAM+, which helps tame that 2024 CTD monster.

Get rid of Kaspersky and only use the default Anti-Virus. That is more than sufficient.

I add Malware Bytes to handle issues other than viruses.

I have a question, I have ticked decrease cloud quality option from the expert option. No matter what, my clouds stays at ultra. I have tried both activation methods. I am using REX Atmos, could that influence to that? My decrease and recovery values are 98 and 85, does that make sense? Sim is 2020.

For TLOD activation of cloud quality reduction, your TLOD must get reduced to TLOD Min and your FPS to drop below before it will activate.

For GPU load activation, you must have GPU-Z running in the background and configured correctly (see readme) for it to work.

FYI, I have just started the 0.4.4.9-test test program if you are interested in trying the latest changes. 

This one will be much smaller in scope than 0.4.4.8, with some small improvements to what is in 0.4.4.8 already but also I am also going to have a go at allowing the user to have more profiles than just IFR and VFR, similar to what DynamicLOD_ResetEdition offers and that a few users have been asking for. eg.

 

No promises on this latter feature though as the existing code is written in a way that make adding more profiles very cumbersome if I keep the structure the same and if rewrite the structure there is some risk that I may inadvertently break something, but that risk is mitigated if I use Copilot to help with all the stuff that is prone to typos. I will give it a red hot go, and if I end up having to dump it, so be it!

If you add more options, please, keep it in a way that lazy users like me can still use it the way it is. At least for my tastes, yeah it's great to have lots of options and customization of course, but it's nice to use it without fiddling with it too much. Just launch it, set fps, and fly.

My goal is to keep the UI as uncluttered as possible, even when I add new features, which I think I have acheived with non-expert mode where it looks pretty much the same as when I first made the app over a year ago, yet it is significantly more complex and capable in what it does behind the scenes. In fact, I will probably keep the exact same UI for non-expert mode, ie radio buttons for IFR and VFR, even if I introduce a drop list for extra profiles in expert mode.
