I set 40 for dynamic settings, I don't set max frame rate (because VD SSW does that for you), and 40 for AutoFPS target VR FPS. Also, make sure you set ExperimentalFeatures to true in the root directory common config file. And should I use AutoLOD or FPS Cap? Thanks again. I’m in the Beta currently, so trying not to introduce too many external variables all at once. I didn’t know from a technical level if you had observed anything. Knock on wood, but I haven't had any negative feedback on it yet, even with the SU4 beta. I've done 4 flights in the SU4 beta with it now and it has been nothing but goodness. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
September 10, 2025Sep 10 I have a 60Hz monitor, an AMD Ryzen 7 7800-X3D, a RTX 4070 Ti Super, 64K RAM, and am using the FS2024 settings shown below. My Global Rendering settings are set to High or lower. I also recently noticed in the Nvidia Control Panel that Vertical Sync was ON and Max Frame Rate OFF. Since I seem to be having more small stutters than I would like, especially at takeoff and landing altitudes, I'm wondering if the Nvidia control panel settings, or any other settings you see here, are wrong. Thanks for any suggestions, Al Edited September 10, 2025Sep 10 by ark

Yes, with 0.4.5.6-test installed and following the instructions in the release notes to enable it. 18 minutes ago, Sonosusto said: I am having on issue. It is not a Max, it is a Top and the top is what you get without any TLOD extra, which comes from excess performance. Per the readme, it is possible to see up to double your Top value. So, not an issue rather a pleasant feature. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

Thanks for any suggestions, Al App users are reporting much smoother results during takeoff and landing phases with the new hybrid dynamic settings capability enabled in 0.4.5.6-test, so you may want to give that a try. If you want to give it a go, download and install from here (or click the + Tests checkbox next to auto updates, restart the app and it will auto update). Then enable by setting ExperimentalFeatures to true in MSFS_AutoFPS.config in the app root install directory prior to running the app, turn on dynamic settings in MSFS settings and set the target FPS for it to 60. Let me know how you go if you try it. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

Thanks so much for helping me...... The settings are the same except for this block, which basically gives you higher LODs, with TLOD increases starting from a lower altitude: With my IFR settings, I usually have TLOD Top - checked too, as I don't usually need high TLOD at night, however since I am testing the new hybrid dynamic settings capability I currently have it disabled for IFR so I can see the full TLOD range at night too. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
