March 4, 20242 yr I'm having awful performance lately also. There's defo some back end stuff going on with servers etc. I can be in the contact with perfect performance and then for 20 minutes the performance will be so bad even the sound is clipping. My system is clean as a whistle. That was my thought, though I normally see poor textures due to slow downloading when that happens rather 5han stutters. It may well be MS servers, though I would of course suggest checking your own connection with speedtest and maybe reboot your router/check plugs and cables. I've had some interesting results connecting via a good VPN from a country with fast speeds and where most people are asleep and not hogging bandwidth. South Korea is pretty good in my case where I am on UTC+0 time. Also run Diskclean from the start menu. Good luck solving the problem. There isn't any problem with my speed according to Speedtest, but my download speed from MS servers is lousy, I don't know if the game itself downloads from the same server though, I'm connected to the West Europe server. March 5, 20242 yr Author Im happy to report that all is fixed. I had originally downloaded the latest nvidia drivers last week but it caused me nothing but issues, so I reverted back about to a January driver and had no issues. Then all the sudden I had issues again yesterday and now updated to the latest driver and no issues. I did run CC so probably cleared some stuff but I find that extremely odd.

Departed out of cyvr, smooth no issues then the rest of the flight, smooth no issues. Then on short final about 1,000-500ft, started getting a major stutter fest at Cyyc, had to close the sim…..I’m about done with this sim lately. I’ve flown about two dozen flights before this weekend with no issues.
March 5, 20242 yr Yeah, I would be wary about "cleaning" the computer thinking that it will fix a MS/Asobo issue. March 5, 20242 yr I'm still think it is due to bad connection with the servers, I also have some short sound clipping issues from time to time, I'm in the latest beta. How? When not many people are having issues everywhere? And my internet is more than capable, get over 600 mbps

It seems like an impossible coincidence for me, I download the latest driver and the new nvidia app and over the course of 48hrs I had awful performance and GPU crashes. Reverted back to GEForce Exp and older driver and I'm back to normal. To be fair this is the first time I've ever had any driver issues, since the sim launched I've never had to revert before.
