How? When not many people are having issues everywhere? And my internet is more than capable, get over 600 mbps

I have 250 mbps, but not against MS servers, I got as low as 2mbps when I download from there.

It seems like an impossible coincidence for me, I download the latest driver and the new nvidia app and over the course of 48hrs I had awful performance and GPU crashes. Reverted back to GEForce Exp and older driver and I'm back to normal.

To be fair this is the first time I've ever had any driver issues, since the sim launched I've never had to revert before.

Which driver did you revert back to? Gonna try this tonight

I just literally don’t understand how the sim can be smooth from the departure airport and then start stuttering on a short final……makes zero sense to me

Same here.. Major stutters all of a sudden as of yesterday. And from 35 fps to 12 fps, even at generic small airports

Memory leak maybe?

I went all the way back to 551.23 but as I'm typing here the release of 551.76 just popped up in my tray. Decisions, decisions!

Thats the one I actually went back to AFTER i uninstalled the newest one the first time and then started having issues again the other day THEN reinstalled the latest one yesterday, fixed my issues until I landed at CYYC last night when all the stuttering happened once again............

Are you on 551.76 right now?  It came out today? I'd be interested to see how this goes for you as 551.62 didn't agree with me at all.

I updated to the latest driver this evening and so far so good……..I won’t be satisfied until I don’t have issues for some time.

It really depends on a lot of things. Do you have mods? GSX? Traffic etc? Sometimes, a lot of objects are loading all at once on final (traffic at parking spots, ground traffic, etc).

As for everyone else, It's likely Asobo/MS servers as this stuttering was happening to me before any NVIDIA updates on my end.

Same here in UK/europe but a little better with the EastUsa server .maybe placebo or a co-insidence.

GSX also seems worse with stutters. Still getting them though with increaseing FL.

Wasnt much of an issue 6 month ago.

In what way can this possibly be a driver issue?  I am saddened by the way people go through such pain and wasting so much of their time trying to solve these MSFS issues by seemingly trying everything out of frustration.

I get a long four to six second pause every so often.  It is not the drivers, or my PC, it is either a connection issue to the servers (used to get the spinning white circle) or just the usual MSFS issues with the internal architecture of the code.

I hope MSFS2024 is better, for issues like this, and the tile popping / tile bleed issues.  It is such a shame.
It is complex software and not easy to iron out all bugs, but it feels like it has been a beta for MSFS2024 for the last three and a half years.  I have never known users face so much frustration with any other piece of software.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Idem...

Hopefully FS 2024 won't be a beta for FS 2028 😄

Glad I'm not the only one with these stutters.

Haven't had a smooth flight in the past week or so 🤕
